Collingtree Park is a residential care home in Northampton, with convenient access to the M1 for visitors. The home is set in the beautiful surroundings of Collingtree Park Golf Course and has leisure and shopping facilities nearby. The purpose-built home offers easy, modern and comfortable living, and landscaped gardens to the front and rear which are accessible to residents for fine-weather activities and outdoor socialising.

Collingtree Park provides residential care and support for a variety of needs relating to ageing and dementia. The highly motivated team focuses on the individual needs of residents, with personal care plans for each resident and a range of activities with something of interest to everyone.

Family and friends are welcome to visit anytime and take part in regular relatives' meetings where all ideas and suggestions are enthusiastically received by the General Manager.

Collingtree Park offers respite care which can be pre-booked up to a year in advance. All rooms are fully furnished, with en-suite facilities, and the lounges and dining areas have doors opening onto the lovely gardens.

During the past two and a half years, our Aunt received an excellent standard of care at Collingtree Park Care Home. Prior to this, we had been dealing with a very challenging time due to our Aunt’s health care needs, especially surrounding her early onset dementia. Within a very short time however,
it became obvious from the standard of care at Collingtree Park Care Home that they were very well equipped to deal with all aspects of her care. One of the most reassuring aspects was the alleviation of our Aunt’s severe anxiety. Members of the family and friends visiting observed this within one month. Every member of staff at Collingtree cared for our Aunt with true kindness and professionalism. Communication at all times between the staff and the family was excellent and we found this very reassuring. For two and a half years until our Aunt’s peaceful passing at the Home, the care was of an excellent standard at all times and, as a family, we would highly recommend Collingtree Park Care Home.

My stay at Collingtree Park care home was only for two nights but during that period I can confirm the following.
1) All staff were very pleasant, made you welcome on arrival and during my stay.
2) Nothing was too much trouble, even in the night or the evening.
3) No complaints about the meals,
good meals, good menu, nice restaurant.
4) My room was very pleasant, nice outlook, plenty of space and very clean.
Overall enjoyed my stay, no complaints.

The staff are very caring, the facilities with the meals served are excellent and there is always organised events going on most days. The list of events going on are sent out to the resident's relatives monthly and are open to them as well. My mother seems happy there and I am happy that she is in

My father is well cared for at Collingtree Park. The staff are very helpful and supportive, always with a cheery smile.
The food is lovely and plentiful and the staff make sure Dad has what he wants. The decor and furnishings are bright, clean and very homely.
I now don't worry about Dad at all.

My father required care in a hurry as his dementia had suddenly got worse. We had contacted Collingtree Park a month or so previously knowing that the time was approaching when we would be unable to care for dad to the extent we wished. The manager visited and said it would be a few months yet, but
took him at very short notice when he suddenly went downhill. Dad thought he was in a hotel and was very happy there. The staff, especially a male member of staff who took no nonsense from dad, were amazing and my father, who was rude to everyone in a jokey way, found he could be as he was and the staff accepted him and, I think, enjoyed his banter. Unfortunately, he was not with them long but I thank them for making him content and looked after in his last months.

My experience of Collingtree Park has been extremely positive.
My aunt had been living independently in her own home but circumstances changed and a residential home move was necessary.
Collingtree Park made this transition as comfortable as possible, identifying my aunt's concerns and addressing
her needs successfully.

The location and setting with beautiful gardens are very pleasant. The refurbished areas downstairs are extremely pleasing and of a high standard. Staff are friendly, but I feel there could be more frequent checks. Sadly, the upstairs floor always smells which is unnecessary and indicates attention
is required. However, I do appreciate that I am unaware of all the demands in a care home.

My late mother-in-law was in this home for two and a half years our experience was so positive that I chose Collingtree for my mother too. The staff genuinely cares for our family members and clearly all due to other residents. There is a community atmosphere which is inclusive, fun, patient and understanding.
My mother is disabled however nothing is considered insurmountable. The staff and management work as a cohesive and respectful team. Their communication is second to none within the home and to families.

My name is Fay, and I bring 29 years of dedicated experience within the care sector. I began my career at 18 as a carer in a dementia-specialist home, where I quickly discovered my passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Over the years, I progressed through various roles — from Senior Carer to Deputy Manager — and by the age of 23, I was appointed as a Registered Home Manager.


In that role, I successfully managed a 64-bed home with over 90 staff, achieving full occupancy, a perfect 10 rating on carehome.co.uk, and receiving multiple industry awards. My commitment to excellence and team development led me to a broader operational role as an Operational Support Manager, where I travelled across the South East of England, supporting care homes with compliance, performance improvement, and leadership mentoring.


While I found the regional support role rewarding, I deeply missed the sense of connection and camaraderie that comes with leading a dedicated team in a care home setting. This brought me back to where my heart truly lies — applying once again for a Home Manager position, where I can lead by example, build strong relationships, and make a tangible difference in the lives of residents and staff.

My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.


Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.

Hello. I am Tamara, Second Chef at Collingtree Park. I have always loved cooking for myself and have developed my career in food since coming from Greece to the UK.


Collingtree Park feels like a big family - I cook with love, as I would for my own family. I research recipes online and try them at home to get them just right for our residents. I like cooking main courses, making them attractive, hearty and full of flavour. I am already working on menus for next season.


I can adapt any of my recipes for people with allergies or swallowing difficulties, so they can enjoy the same flavours as everyone else.


I also make cakes and other treats for birthdays and events.

Prasanna Sivakumar

Job Title: Home Administer Joined: 2025

I have joined the Barchester family as the Home Administrator at Collingtree Park in Aug 2025. I bring with me over 25 years of experience in Healthcare and Hospitality Management, having worked across various departments, including Finance, HR, Administration, and customer-facing services.


My recent experience includes working within specialist mental health hospitals, nursing and residential homes, as well as the NHS, where I’ve developed a strong understanding of both Administrative and operational needs in healthcare settings. I’m passionate about ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing high-quality support to both staff and residents.


I look forward to contributing to the continued success of Collingtree Park and supporting our team in delivering excellent care.
