Well organised and extremely considerate and kind carers, plus a decent range of activities.

Mum only spent a brief period at Belvoir Vale but was always treated with kindness and dignity. The staff were very supportive to me at the end of her life.

Dad was at Belvoir Vale for 10 weeks and during this time we noticed a marked improvement in his general condition. The staff were kind, respectful and caring to him and to us. They encouraged him to eat, mobilise and join in with activities. At the end when he suffered a series of seizures they dealt with this with appropriate speed and compassion. Huge thanks to all the team.

Our dad spent two very happy years in Belvoir Vale Care Home. The staff were outstanding and always ensured that he was fully and properly cared for. The CEO is excellent and creates a warm, happy and welcoming atmosphere which transcends to all the staff and residents. As visitors, we were able to come and go freely - we felt part of 'the team'. I strongly recommend Belvoir Vale. Thank you to the manager and the staff for all that you did for our dad.

We can not speak too highly of all the staff for their kindness and patience shown to mum. She was treated with love and dignity at all times, as were we. Nothing was too much trouble.

My 99-year-old grandmother needed respite care after an illness. The manager was very accommodating and made arrangements for her to go to the home that very day. All the staff were very welcoming and made you feel nothing was too much trouble. They were particularly helpful in meeting our needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place - it was very safe and secure, clean and friendly. Everything was of a very good standard, including all the staff.

With my lovely mum being 90 years old and suffering from dementia and severe arthritis, caring for her at home was no longer an option and yet I needed to find the right place, where I felt confident that I could relax and know that mum would be safe, well cared for and happy. I knew when I walked into Belvoir Vale that this was the right place to bring my precious mum to live. It is all on one level and she had a pretty room where I was able to bring her own treasures. The food is all home cooked, laundry is done to an exacting standard. Staff are kind and cheerful, understanding my mum's sense of humour and quirky ways. There are lots of activities to fill the days and much fun is had by all. It's true to say they gave me my mum back so I was no longer just her carer.

My sister has been cared for at Belvoir Vale for 10 years 11 months until her death earlier this month. I cannot praise more highly the care received from all the staff including the cleaners, maintenance man, office staff as well as all the carers. It is more like a home and all the staff are very approachable and were concerned for me in addition to my sister's needs throughout her stay.

Despite being bedridden she was turned regularly and did not get bed sores, which says a great deal for the care she received. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Good to have dad assessed at home prior to respite, all lifestyle information given. On returning home dad had obviously hadn't been walking much as he was very stiff and both legs were swollen up to his knees. They were aware that dad lived as independently as possible but it appears that he had not been encouraged to mobilise. Dad reports that he had a lovely holiday and had enjoyed being looked after, perhaps a bit too well.

Thank you for your kind review and we are so pleased that your father enjoyed his stay with us at Belvoir Vale. He did walk daily to the dining room and lounge areas, but also enjoyed his rest in an afternoon, which we had to respect his wishes. We would welcome a meeting with yourself to go over any concerns or issues you have raised.

She cannot move or speak but is always treated with gentleness and smiles and her bodily needs are met unfailingly.

My mother has received fantastic care and attention while she was at Belvoir Vale at one of the most difficult times in her 93 years. There was never a problem, nothing was too much trouble and as a family we were looked after so well especially when Mum was so ill. all the staff were so caring in those six weeks that Mum was in the home. Without this care Mum would not be back in her home now. We cannot thank them enough.

I came to Belvoir Vale on discharge from hospital, for "convalescent" care, before returning home. On arrival, I was shown to my very pleasant room, offered a drink, shown all the facilities and the care assistant care buzzer. During my stay, I have been very impressed with the standard of care, food, cleanliness and overall service.

The care assistants are superb, kind and helpful. I feel confident now that I will be able to cope independently at home. The food was nourishing, tasty and well presented. Thank you to every single person involved.

We chose Belvoir Vale where mum stood the best chance of being happy, and for the six years of her stay, we never thought otherwise. I like that the staff cared for not only mum, but her family too, in the way they interacted with us. Nothing was too much trouble for them - professional and caring. The end of life care was especially good. Mum always said the staff, all staff, should get a big pay rise! And I agree.

My mother began the final part of her dementia journey at 'Belvoir Vale Care Home' on the 3rd December 2013. Sadly, mother passed away on Sunday 19th June 2016 peacefully and suffering no pain. Throughout the two and a half years of her stay, she has received the most wonderful care from the Management and staff there. She mentioned her dignity throughout and was given the utmost respect at all times. My brother and I will be indebted to 'Belvoir Vale Care Home' for the rest of our lives. Thank you all.

My sister had to move from hospital to a care home somewhat quickly and a friend suggested Belvoir Vale. My wife and I have no regrets about that decision. The home was purpose built, is functional and practical and has recently been updated. The key to the home is the staff who are patient and caring. As my sister succumbed to Dementia so the staff spent time dressing her and feeding her by hand. Although she became ill with cancer the staff continued caringly looking after her until she died at the home. Altogether she was a resident there for seven and a half years.

My dad has been a resident at Belvoir Vale for over 18 months. He has complex care needs and can be quite a challenge at times. The staff at Belvoir Vale have supported not only my dad but the whole family through this difficult period. My dads care has been exemplary and I can not fault it at any point during his time at this care home. He has now needed to move to a nursing home as his needs have increased and I miss visiting Belvoir Vale enormously. I would thoroughly recommend this care home on the experience I have had there.

Greatly relieved the home could take my parents at short notice. Always greeted by smiling, friendly staff who appear to enjoy their work. The staff call the doctor(GP) when necessary. We understand there will be an increase on fees from April, but have not personally been informed of this, we have power of attorney.

We are pleased to see the number of agency staff has reduced as this provides continuity of care and promotes trust between staff and residents who struggle to remember names and faces. The staff are caring and treat mum with respect. The trips our are a welcome distraction though not easy to manage. Perhaps more could be made of the day rooms and the garden could made more accessible in the warmer months. The safety in the park has been improved by erecting a gate and fence which is a positive move.
