I am very pleased with the care my mum receives. She is treated with kindness, dignity and a dash of humour, which I personally feel is really important. There are many activities available, and my mum particularly enjoys the singing.

My friend has been a resident at Braywood Gardens for over a year. She is well looked after by all the staff there who care for her greatly. The staff are always friendly and approachable and couldn't do enough for her. Would definitely recommend this care home, as you will be well looked after.

We had no idea what care would be like for our dad. It was so comforting from the start of the whole process. The manager was very attentive, patient and kind and made us feel at ease. The staff were so kind and welcoming offering drinks as if they had known us for years. Dad settled immediately and

We booked a short stay for my mother in December and as a family, we are all in agreement that should and when, the time comes, Braywood Gardens will be our first choice for our mother's permanent home. The staff, from the front of house, to carers and cleaners, were all personable and friendly. Our

My grandmother was recently admitted into Braywood as an urgent placement. She was suffering at home without 24/7 care. We honestly felt that we were going to lose her. The team at Braywood, from management to cleaners have dedicated so much time to her that she is finally feeling a little more like
herself. They truly are angels and are so welcoming and helpful. I can't thank you all enough for helping my grandmother. The activities team spend 1-1 time with residents and are so gentle with them all. It's a magical place where everyone cares.

What a lovely and calm environment. Emergency care for my dear friend. As this was a big shock to us all, we can honestly say this was the best decision made. The food they provide is excellent. My wife has been at Braywood Gardens for around six months. In this time she has been looked after and loved by the staff and management and I have even had the privilege of meeting the owner. It is well run and everyone is a friend, not just a visitor. I highly recommend this home if you're looking

My brother recently went into Braywood and although this was a shock to me and my family, the homes management and staff were exceptionally caring and informative. Upon entering, we felt completely at ease and welcomed with the warmth of a family member or long-lost friend. My brother who was very unsettled
in hospital is now at Braywood and is thriving and doing better than ever. I'll never be able to thank them enough.

Mum was in a short stay, two-week respite at Braywood. Her first time in a care home. She loved every minute of it, praising all the staff and how she was looked after by them. Mum moved into Braywood Gardens a couple of months ago and is very content here. She has Alzheimer's and doesn't recognize anyone, but we're happy that she's being well looked after by the warm and friendly staff. She has a large, beautiful room, which is kept spotlessly clean and plenty of company,
so she's never lonely. As the home is quite spacious, she enjoys walking around chatting to the staff and other residents, plus taking part in the activities. The family also enjoy seeing what she's been up to on their social media page. Would highly recommend as we now have peace of mind that Mum's safe and being well cared for by an excellent team of well-trained staff.

I have been visiting my lifelong friend in Braywood for a few years now. Whilst she doesn't always remember me, the staff support me to maintain my friendship and are always on hand when I feel overwhelmed. The management is so welcoming as well as the staff, and the residents always look so happy and
jolly to be there. It's always a pleasure to visit, and I often don't get there as often as I like, but I am always welcomed when I go.

I’m Jeffrey Ford, the Registered Home Manager at Braywood Gardens. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, my career began in adult mental health services. In 2013, I transitioned to the rewarding field of nursing homes, where I’ve been able to focus on creating a supportive environment for residents needing specialised care.


Braywood Gardens is designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals living with dementia, frailty, and physical disabilities. We provide personalised support to enhance each resident’s quality of life.


I find great joy in interacting with residents, listening to their stories, and learning from their experiences. We prioritise resident feedback through regular meetings, fostering a culture where their voices are heard, and their needs come first.

I joined the Braywood Gardens team in November 2019 and have been proudly serving as the welcoming face of our home ever since. As a receptionist, I enjoy interacting with residents and their families, ensuring their needs are met with care and enthusiasm. Being front of house allows me to create meaningful connections while providing a helpful and friendly environment for everyone who visits.


One of my proudest achievements has been taking on my Level 5 Management qualification, which reflects my commitment to personal and professional growth.

Hello, I’m Lydia, the Lifestyle Coordinator at Braywood Gardens, where I’ve had the privilege of working for the past eight years. What I love most about my role is the opportunity to connect with our residents on a personal level. I take pride in organising activities that are tailored to their unique interests and lifestyles. It’s incredibly rewarding to build trust and meaningful bonds with them, as my work is much more than just a job—it’s a passion.


My journey at Braywood Gardens began as a care assistant, and I’m proud to have progressed to my current role as Lifestyle Coordinator. This growth has deepened my understanding of our residents' needs and strengthened my commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.


Outside of work, I’m an animal lover who takes in and cares for stray cats. I also enjoy cooking, staying active at the gym, and nurturing mental well-being through walks and outings. Whether I’m preparing a meal, exploring nature, or sharing a laugh with friends, I embrace every opportunity to create a fulfilling and balanced life.
