Where I have given satisfactory ratings, this is down to lack of knowledge really.
This is wonderful. Thank you for the kind words of our home. I am so happy that he had a very good and wonderful experience for his time spent in the home.
My mother was in the home for six weeks respite care, after a fall and subsequent stay in hospital. On admittance to the home, she was weak and confused. Due to the care and encouragement of the staff, as well as the excellent food and medical supervision, Mum was able to gradually regain her strength and mobility. The small unit enabled her to receive individual attention, and the kindness of the staff played a big part in bringing her back to life.
Thank you for the kind words and we wish your mum the very best. We truly are dedicated to our residents and helping them through all tough times.
The daily entertainment encourages all to attend and socialises everyone. Weekly trips out and about. There is always something to do - baking and crafting. These ladies are absolutely angels, and they love their jobs and the environment they work in. A true breath of fresh air. When we walk to the cafe, everyone asks how my mum is - their manner is so naturally friendly.
The endless support the staff and manager have shown us with support and guidance has been incredible, helping us every step of the journey. As a family, we can’t thank them enough.
This is an absolutely beautiful review. We are so proud to have been a part of your mum's recovery and being well. Many thanks for your trust, support and being wonderful.
Mum moved here from a care home where we had raised numerous concerns over the years (some more serious than others). Yes, there are issues in most care homes, and Braywood is no exception, but the manager (who has an open-door policy) and her staff will always listen. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and treat Mum with dignity and respect. She seems so much happier and healthier since moving here.
Thank you for your kind words; we are so pleased that Mum has been happier since moving into the home.
Have received excellent service from the care home from the initial contact with the home to move-in day. The staff have been friendly, happy and professional throughout. They have provided a perfect room for my mum, taking into account her needs. My mum seems settled in her new home, and the carers attending to my mum are lovely with her.
This is a wonderful review; we are so happy that your mum is settled with us, and we thank you for this positive review and Support of Braywood Gardens.
Management is very professional as all the staff.
Extremely clean and very professional organisation.
Whenever I go to see my friend, everybody is very kind and extremely courteous.
Thank you for the kind and glowing review. We take pride in our work, and it's a pleasure to welcome visitors, guests and friends into our home.
This is my first experience of a care home and I must say that the service and staff at Braywood Gardens were excellent. They were very attentive and caring and very easy to communicate with. They have been very helpful. I would recommend them highly.
We thank you for your kind words and appreciate this very positive review.
I have found that the staff and the service given to my mother has been excellent. I have been kept informed of important things relating to her care and she is very happy in the home and appears to be very content. Well done!
Thank You for your positive feedback. It is truly received with warm and welcoming thanks.
My friend has recently become a resident at Braywood Gardens Care Home and is very happy to be there. She tells me all the staff and residents are friendly, and show respect and great care for each other. I have witnessed this on my visits to my friend. The rooms are comfortable clean and spacious. The furnishings are all attractive and the whole place seems clean, tidy and attractive I have only seen the gardens through the windows but they look attractive. I am so grateful to see my friend so happy. Also, she tells me the food is good and she enjoys the activities.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. It is always nice to hear from our relatives and friends. Much Kindness to you for this review.
My mum has resided at Braywood for over 6 years now, I know the team really well and to be honest it’s my second home as I visit mum most days. Mum is 89, frail but with, and I am blessed, a strong will. Over the past couple of weeks, things have been tough and we thought it was Mum's time. Again Mum has pulled through, as best she can, but without the support of the care home team, I genuinely believe we would not be where we are today. They are a special team and I give them the utmost respect, grateful thanks to all, today and the days going forward.
I feel he is safe and looked after.
Dad praises the staff.
I am so grateful for all you do, thank you!
Thank you so much for these lovely words. Your dad is a pleasure and it gives us great satisfaction to hear your thoughts around his care and the way you feel about Braywood, again, thank you.
I am very pleased with the care my mum receives. She is treated with kindness, dignity and a dash of humour, which I personally feel is really important. There are many activities available, and my mum particularly enjoys the singing.
Thank you for those wonderful words. It means a lot to staff of the hone to hear positive reviews.
Receptionist is lovely, always smiling and always welcoming.
Management's door is always open. My friend comments on the dinners provided and activities across the home.
Thank you for all your help with my friend.
Thank you for the wonderful review. It really is heartwarming to know that our residents are happy and feel cared for.
My friend has been a resident at Braywood Gardens for over a year. She is well looked after by all the staff there who care for her greatly. The staff are always friendly and approachable and couldn't do enough for her. Would definitely recommend this care home, as you will be well looked after.
Thank you for the wonderful review about your lovely friend. It's so nice to hear about good experiences within the home.
We had no idea what care would be like for our dad. It was so comforting from the start of the whole process. The manager was very attentive, patient and kind and made us feel at ease. The staff were so kind and welcoming offering drinks as if they had known us for years. Dad settled immediately and watching him now smile, makes us happy to know he is cared for.
Thank you for those lovely words in the review. It is always so special to us all at Braywood to hear this. We thank you for placing your trust in us to care for Dad.
We booked a short stay for my mother in December and as a family, we are all in agreement that should and when, the time comes, Braywood Gardens will be our first choice for our mother's permanent home. The staff, from the front of house, to carers and cleaners, were all personable and friendly. Our mother was very happy when we picked her up and said that she would like to stay again.
Thank you for a wonderful review. Its always a pleasure hearing things have gone wonderfully well during your stay. We look forward to seeing you again and continuing the positive experience you have had.
My grandmother was recently admitted into Braywood as an urgent placement. She was suffering at home without 24/7 care. We honestly felt that we were going to lose her. The team at Braywood, from management to cleaners have dedicated so much time to her that she is finally feeling a little more like herself. They truly are angels and are so welcoming and helpful. I can't thank you all enough for helping my grandmother. The activities team spend 1-1 time with residents and are so gentle with them all. It's a magical place where everyone cares.
This review has been a pleasure to read. It is always so heart-warming to read that the staff of Braywood make such a difference to someone's life. Thank you for the kind words and positive review.
What a lovely and calm environment. Emergency care for my dear friend. As this was a big shock to us all, we can honestly say this was the best decision made. The food they provide is excellent. Lots of choices throughout the week. Great activities happening all the time around the home. Staff are easy to approach. Management, friendly and always there if I need to query anything. Lovely reception team. Always smiling. Great work all round. Thank you, Braywood Gardens.
Thank you so much for those wonderful comments, it is always lovely to hear that the home is so well thought of and to know that Braywood Gardens is doing well. We value all reviews and utilise these within the home to continue to strive to give all our residents 110%.
My wife has been at Braywood Gardens for around six months. In this time she has been looked after and loved by the staff and management and I have even had the privilege of meeting the owner. It is well run and everyone is a friend, not just a visitor. I highly recommend this home if you're looking for that family feel.
Thank you for those kind words. We are a family and welcome anyone into this. It's our pleasure to look after and care for your wife.
Nice to know when leaving after a visit, that my mother-in-law, is in good hands and well cared for. Thank you.
Thank you for your Kind Words. We really do appreciate all feedback from the Braywood Extended Family members. We feel so happy knowing that you have confidence in us to take care of someone so dear and close to you.

I have been part of the team at Runwood Homes since 2015. I originally started my journey as a Care Assistant at Braywood Gardens and have worked my way to my current role of Home Manager. I transferred back to Braywood Gardens in April 2026, which has felt like such a homecoming!
I have a varied background and have worked in different settings and supported a range of different ages and abilities. I am passionate about ensuring our residents receive genuine, person-centred care and promoting a true sense of belonging and maintaining their links and connections within the community. My favourite part of my role is ensuring that our residents live fulfilled and happy lives, and getting to know each person as an individual, their life histories and preferences.
I have high expectations for myself and my team and am incredibly proud to be a part of the Braywood Gardens team. As a team, we strive to ensure everyone lives fulfilled and happy lives, and ensuring that every moment counts.

Hi, I'm Jo, the deputy manager at Braywood Gardens.
I started with the home 23 years ago, and I have worked in the roles of a domestic and kitchen assistant before switching to a care role. I developed within my role to become a care team leader, and this year was successful in obtaining the position of deputy manager.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, music and am an avid fan and season ticket holder for The Panthers Ice Hockey Team.

I joined the Braywood Gardens team in November 2019 and have been proudly serving as the welcoming face of our home ever since. As a receptionist, I enjoy interacting with residents and their families, ensuring their needs are met with care and enthusiasm. Being front of house allows me to create meaningful connections while providing a helpful and friendly environment for everyone who visits.
