Meals are good, staff are very caring. It is a lovely home and residents are friendly.
What more can I say, I love it here. I would recommend to anyone and I do.
Lovely 'old peoples nursery' type feel - bright and airy, good attention to detail - pictures on walls etc. Much better than other care homes experienced. Have already recommended to others.
Our feedback is positive overall. Mum came here by chance and we feel lucky she did. The staff try really hard to make sure mum is happy and healthy and to solve any problems she has. All in all the family feel happy and positive about Braywood Gardens.
This is a fantastic, caring, friendly care home. The staff go beyond the call of duty. My mum has never been happier. Thank you all so much for everything.
My Great Aunt and Uncle are residents in the home and I feel their quality of life and health has improved since being there they have both gained weight, which they needed to do and enjoy the home cooked meals. It is very reassuring knowing they are in a safe environment with people who genuinely have their health and welfare at heart.
This establishment is an amazing home and the staff are caring, funny and wonderful. Even though my mother has only been staying for two weeks she has been relaxed and enjoyed everything about the activities. I cannot thank you all for your help and support for my mum and all the family.
I have been at Braywood Gardens for 3 years, the staff are wonderful, I can speak to the home manager whenever I want to and he is very approachable. The home is excellent in all aspects.
I have seen inside various care homes but I must say that Braywood is a very very good home with an all round thumbs up. I haven't come across a home that employs such caring staff. The home is excellent in all aspects, the manager and especially the carers are very very nice, caring, thoughtful and hard working people. I would definitely recommend anyone who has to go into care to seriously consider coming to Braywood. So in a word to sum up the home "It is excellent".
My mother has been in this care home now for just over 1 year. I have visited many care homes in the past and I must say that in my opinion this is the best one I have ever seen and experienced. The carers are extremely hard working and dedicated my mother wants for nothing. The manager and his assistant are very approachable and caring. The food is of a very high standard, the activities are varied and often to cater for all. I highly recommend this care home.
My father has been at Braywood Care Home for 22 months and since coming to Braywood dad has been much happier. His previous home he was depressed and withdrawn now he laughs with staff. He is well looked after always clean and very happy so pleased we moved him to Braywood.
My involvement with the home has been varied, usually at teatime - washing up, on Jasmine Unit and with helping with and partaking (I acted as Santa before Christmas and on Christmas Day) in various activities.
I come into contact with various staff and find they are friendly and attentive to the needs of the residents and family members at all times.
I am treated as a what I term as a member of 'family'.

Meet the Team (6)

I have been part of the team at Runwood Homes since 2015. I originally started my journey as a Care Assistant at Braywood Gardens and have worked my way to my current role of Home Manager. I transferred back to Braywood Gardens in April 2026, which has felt like such a homecoming!
I have a varied background and have worked in different settings and supported a range of different ages and abilities. I am passionate about ensuring our residents receive genuine, person-centred care and promoting a true sense of belonging and maintaining their links and connections within the community. My favourite part of my role is ensuring that our residents live fulfilled and happy lives, and getting to know each person as an individual, their life histories and preferences.
I have high expectations for myself and my team and am incredibly proud to be a part of the Braywood Gardens team. As a team, we strive to ensure everyone lives fulfilled and happy lives, and ensuring that every moment counts.

Hi, my name is Urszula and i am the Deputy Manager at Braywood Gardens.
I have been in the care industry since 2004 and started in a care role at Braywood Gardens in 2017. After a year i was promoted to care team leader and in June 2025 i commenced my new role as deputy manager.
I love everything about my job, i enjoy supporting the team here at Braywood Gardens and helping the residents and their families.

Hi, I'm Jo, the deputy manager at Braywood Gardens.
I started with the home 23 years ago, and I have worked in the roles of a domestic and kitchen assistant before switching to a care role. I developed within my role to become a care team leader, and this year was successful in obtaining the position of deputy manager.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, music and am an avid fan and season ticket holder for The Panthers Ice Hockey Team.

I joined the Braywood Gardens team in November 2019 and have been proudly serving as the welcoming face of our home ever since. As a receptionist, I enjoy interacting with residents and their families, ensuring their needs are met with care and enthusiasm. Being front of house allows me to create meaningful connections while providing a helpful and friendly environment for everyone who visits.
One of my proudest achievements has been taking on my Level 5 Management qualification, which reflects my commitment to personal and professional growth.

I am the Lifestyle Coordinator at Braywood Gardens.
With 19 years of dedicated service, I love spending time with residents and putting a smile on their faces. I take pride in providing a diverse range of activities tailored to their needs, ensuring every day is meaningful and engaging.
Beyond work, I enjoy cooking, biking, and walking—pursuits that keep me active and inspired.

Hello, I’m Lydia, the Lifestyle Coordinator at Braywood Gardens, where I’ve had the privilege of working for the past eight years. What I love most about my role is the opportunity to connect with our residents on a personal level. I take pride in organising activities that are tailored to their unique interests and lifestyles. It’s incredibly rewarding to build trust and meaningful bonds with them, as my work is much more than just a job—it’s a passion.
My journey at Braywood Gardens began as a care assistant, and I’m proud to have progressed to my current role as Lifestyle Coordinator. This growth has deepened my understanding of our residents' needs and strengthened my commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.
Outside of work, I’m an animal lover who takes in and cares for stray cats. I also enjoy cooking, staying active at the gym, and nurturing mental well-being through walks and outings. Whether I’m preparing a meal, exploring nature, or sharing a laugh with friends, I embrace every opportunity to create a fulfilling and balanced life.
