My mum has currently lived here for 6 years and my dad and grandma before that. The care they give here is wonderful. Residents are treated like one of their own and the management and team are always open to discussion about anything at all. The environment of the home is clean, modern and homely and the food is great. There are a wide variety of activities, entertainment and outings that are on offer very regularly with consideration given to many different abilities. Communication with relatives is excellent and I have complete peace of mind that my loved one is cared for.
Thank you so much for this outstanding review. I will make sure it is passed on to the entire team. It is a pleasure to work alongside families to ensure the best possible outcomes for those in our care.
It has been clear over the last 3 months that Maun View has a culture of kindness, caring and compassion. The leadership team is honest and transparent, appearing to understand and value their staff which fosters the supportive and inclusive environment that I see at every visit.
I am confident that my mum’s needs (both mentally and physically) are being met.
What an incredibly thoughtful and inspiring review. Thank you so much for sharing this! Reviews like this mean the world to us and I will make sure the whole team gets to see/hear your kind words.
We moved my grandma to Maun View a few months before Christmas. Her improvement has been astounding in everything from her dementia and mood to her cleanliness. She frequently is taken on trips out and given many opportunities to stimulate her mind. She is certainly a happier and more content person at Maun View. Thank you to the manager and the team.
Thank you so much for this fantastic review. I will make sure the entire team hear your words of thanks and praise.
Excellent care, staff are amazing. Management are brilliant.
Thank you so much for this lovely review! We ate thrilled with the feedback and I'll make sure the whole team know how amazing they are!
My mum has been a resident at Maun View for two weeks. I and my family are very happy with the care my mum is receiving. The staff, deputy manager and manager always make us feel welcome. The activities are really good, it's so nice that the family is asked to join with activities.
Thank you so much for this incredibly positive review. We are so pleased that your mum has settled so well at Maun View, and I will make sure the entire team know how grateful you are for their efforts!
As a family, we are happy with the care that Mum is getting, however, more to the point, Mum is happy and after all that, surely is what families want. The management are extremely helpful, obliging and approachable. Really lovely. The nursing and care staff are lovely, friendly and work really hard, they will answer any queries or find a staff member who can.
Thank you so much for this incredible review! We are so grateful to have families such as yourselves who are supportive of the home and everything we do. We couldn't do it without you!
The staff are always very pleasant, in my experience, there is always somebody calling in on my relative to check up on her well-being. She is very happy with her treatment and is constantly praising the staff. I have only seen two meals and I could have eaten them both. The services are comprehensive and make her life much more pleasant and natural. Although she prefers not to take part in most of the varied activities, she is always invited to join in. A perfect home-from-home and the manager is lovely. If I had to be in a home it would be top of my list.
Thank you for this beautifully complimentary review! We are thrilled that you're relative is so happy here at Maun View and will ensure that the staff are all aware of your kind words.
It is a daunting task to find a care home for a family member, but Maun View stood head and shoulders above the other homes we visited. The staff are amazing and go the extra mile to provide activities, trips out and very recently, a visit to the pantomime in Mansfield. Last week we were able to join Mum in a beautiful Christmas lunch at the home and it was fabulous. Even better, is the fact that we know she is wonderfully well looked after by the amazing staff, to whom we will always be grateful.
Wow! What an incredibly glowing review for the staff team here at Maun View. We are eternally grateful for our families and their continued support and involvement in the home. I'll be sure to let the whole team know about your sincere and kind words of appreciation.
I find the staff and management to be very friendly and helpful and they look after my partner very well. I don't think I could wish for a better service.
We thank you so much for this beautifully kind review. I'll be sure to let the staff know how appreciative you are of their hard work. We really appreciate how involved in the home you are and absolutely love that you come along to activities too!
My husband has been here a year now and I have full confidence that he is always safe and well cared for. All his needs are well met.
This is lovely, thank you so much for the review! It is an absolute pleasure to care for your husband and we thank you for your involvement in the home. See you soon!
Maun View is very well-managed, the staff are friendly and approachable. Finding a care home for your loved one is a daunting process but it was obvious from the start that the staff at Maun View treat every resident as an individual with their own needs and preferences. Every time I visit there is something going on and the residents have monthly meetings to have a say in what activities they would like to take part in. All the residents are treated with kindness and respect.
Thank you so much for this incredibly kind review and thank you for your continued support. I'll make sure all the staff are aware of your kind words.
The staff are always helpful and caring.
Thank you so much for this. The staff team at Maun View really appreciate your support.
Staff were brilliant, two in particular, and we appreciated all you did. Everybody was so impressed that Maun View and it's staff were mentioned numerous times during Dad's funeral. Thank you.
It was a delight for us to be able to get to know this gentleman and your family in the time he spent with us. The staff were all so fond of him and his funeral was the most special of occasions and a true celebration of a full and blessed life. I'll be sure to let the staff know how much they were appreciated, thank you so much for this review.
My father-in-law was discharged from hospital to Maun View due to his health and mobility issues. The home looked after him as if he was their own family. Their care of him was wonderful. As he became unable to digest his food due to his stomach cancer, they would often cook him whatever he fancied and after 1 teaspoon would not feel like it anymore. Two members of staff became our extended support during his stay. The day of his death all the staff, including the two in particular, were on hand if the family needed them. I would thoroughly recommend Maun View to all my friends.
Thank you so much for this incredible review. All of the staff here at Maun View feel extremely blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing and caring for this gentleman in the last weeks of his life. We will ensure that your kind words and praise will be passed on to the whole team.
Wonderfully happy, friendly home and my mum is very content here. Fantastic management and well-being lead, lovely, caring team of staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Facilities and food are all excellent. The home is always clean, tidy and welcoming. Thank you to the whole team at Maun View!
Thank you so much for this incredible review and your continued support of the home. I will make sure the whole team see it. We are always so grateful for the feedback and are enthused and inspired by your kind words.
My mum has been a resident at Maun View for the past 6 months after she had a traumatic and short period of time in hospital for dementia. When researching care homes for my mum it became quickly apparent that the staff at Maun View were by far the most caring and understanding that I spoke to. This has been true of her time there too. Staff are inclusive, energetic, understanding, helpful and always striving for the best care possible. I can't thank them enough for making what can be a very stressful time for all involved, an experience that has surpassed my expectations.
Thank you so much for your kind words and this glowing review! I will be sure to let all the staff know how appreciated they are. Reviews like this boost staff morale immensely and they will be thrilled to hear your words of appreciation. I also want to thank you for your participation in life at...
Both my parents were taken into the home at very short notice within 24 hours of our initial contact, my mum having been prematurely discharged from hospital the previous day. None of us had any experience or expectations with care. What amazed me from the start was how warm the welcome was they received, reassuring us all that the transition to their new environment would be painless and indeed possible. I really could not believe they could be looked after to such a degree. After the first day, I felt a weight had lifted from us all in that they are safe and we being taken care of, make no mistake the definition of care at Maun View extends to the relatives as well as residents. The staff are all amiable, professional, patient, kind and understanding. I still can’t believe how far their umbrella of care extends, medical, optical, physiotherapy etc. A truly wonderful team they have and also a loving environment could write much more (+ most important - the food is very good also!).
Thank you for this incredible and glowing review! Working together with our resident's families to collaborate on delivering the best care is a huge focus for us here at Maun View and reviews like this highlight just how rewarding that can be. Thank you again for the kind words and your continued support of the home. I will make sure that your comments are passed on to the entire team.
The food menus are varied and offer a range of home cooked foods. I’ve gone to visit in the morning a few times and found my dad sat down to a full cooked breakfast, looking very happy indeed!
Thank you to all the staff at Maun View for everything you do.
Wow, what a review! Thank you so much for the continued support you give as a family, it is invaluable to us to be able to collaboratively work towards achieving the best care possible for our residents. Thanks again!
The rooms are kept clean, and the home is bright and homely.
My brother is well looked after.
Thank you for this glowing review! I'll make sure your comments are passed on to all the staff. See you soon!
I have found all staff I have come into contact with very approachable, caring, understanding and most importantly, listen to our concerns and worries about our relative. They appear to be treated with dignity and respect. My relative has a lovely big room. I have always felt welcome to visit despite the difficulties caused by Covid. Well done Maun View, I have every admiration for the job you do so well!
The staff will be over the moon with this glowing review, thank you so much for taking the time to complete it and thank you, as always, for the support you provide as a family.
