The facilities are beautiful and clean. The staff are all polite, helpful and very obliging. Nothing is too much trouble. They interact with the residents very well which the residents enjoy. The management are the same which is great to see and they enjoy activities too. It's a home-from-home. It is wonderful to know that I can rest assured of my husband's safe and secure well-being. With a huge thank you to all at Nightingale.

My visit today was very pleasant, my sister had just lunch and it looked delicious. I came with my daughter and was just in time for some activities, today it was musical instruments and the lovely activities lady who does the lounge activities kept both residents and us amused. It was great fun! We applaud the activities lady in the lounge for all the activities she thinks up and gets the residents motivated and big smiles all around. I feel these times are the best and love seeing all residents join in and totally enjoy!

Had a lovely visit visiting my aunty. The activity lady who was in the lounge was playing musical instruments and got residents involved by playing music, dancing and all residents had an instrument and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. My mum and I also got involved and had lots of fun. The activities lady is fantastic with all residents getting them involved with lots of different activities which everyone seems to enjoy. It's lovely to see the residents having fun and seeing lots of happy faces.

My mother entered the care home in September 2023. She has settled well. The care she receives is excellent and I feel at ease that she is well and being well cared for. The staff are all approachable and keep me fully updated.

Nightingale is the third care home that my mother has experienced, it is by far the best. My mother was made to feel so welcome when she arrived. Organising a place for her was handled very professionally. The staff are very caring and she has had all her needs met with compassion and empathy. I am very happy to recommend Nightingale.

Cannot rate this care home highly enough really. I have had both my parents here for the last eighteen months. There have been great changes since the new manager took over earlier this year. A lot more permanent staff and less agency workers, which is good for the residents. Rooms are always clean and tidy and bedding is freshly washed and clean. Meals are exceptional too, with plenty of variety. All the carers are really friendly and take really good care, with respect too. I know my parents are exceptionally cared for here, with all their needs met.

My mother-in-law moved to Nightingale after a not very pleasant experience with care homes. Wow, what can I say, the staff do absolutely everything possible to ensure that my mum-in-law is happy, entertained and cared for. The food is amazing and she now wants to stay as she feels this is where she belongs. The home is constantly having upgrades and with no expense spared. Great place, great team and a great home for my mum-in-law!

My mum is always looked after in a kind and caring way and the staff are really lovely it’s just a pity that they don’t have more staff but that is the situation due to the present climate in this country. The renovations are still ongoing and it is looking lovely now and very clean. Even the cleaning staff are lovely with the residents.

They all do their very best in a very trying and exhausting job. They all deserve, much more pay than they get! The government should make sure of that to continue to look after our elderly and vulnerable people. Well done to the manager for turning this care home around with of course all the help of the fabulous staff.

Friendly environment. Caring staff. Comfortable furniture. Wonderful and reassuring to see staff that genuinely care. New management team is absolutely outstanding. You can see how much they care about all the residents and staff, 110% devoted. I am so glad my mum is in this care home, I wouldn’t want her anywhere now, the home has improved immensely under Jasmine Healthcare Ltd. Thank you, Jasmine Healthcare Ltd.

Few months back my sister and I thought of moving mum out of Nightingale. At the time we were worried sick leaving mum in Nightingale. The home has gone through a refurbishment which is of a high standard. The manager is approachable. He has made some great improvements within a short space of time. We all love him. He is so passionate about the residents. What I like about him is he never takes credit for all he has done. In all his updates he always gives credit to his staff. He is a true leader, an absolutely first-class manager.

My mum has been a resident at this home since November 2020. I had concerns after my mum had been there a while due to a lack of management skills, ie. poor communication with the home, manager not answering your calls or returning them. Not being advised how mum was. Not being able to visit as regularly as we would have liked. Since the new manager has taken over, the home has really improved in admin skills and caring. Staff are very friendly and the care they give to mum is very good.

My husband was transferred to Nightingale from hospital in October 2019 for end of life care. Due to the excellent care and close attention to his needs he is still with us more than a year later. Nightingale's greatest strength is the dedication and kindness of it's staff who do their utmost to give the residents the very best quality of life they can attain, seeing to their needs with the minimum of fuss and disruption. It has a cheerful, friendly environment and I have always felt most welcome when visiting was allowed. The staff always find time to discuss any concerns I might have and use their expertise to help, reassure and comfort whenever they can. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone in similar circumstances to myself when looking for care for a much-loved family member.

(I know that renovations to the rooms and public areas are in process at the moment but due to Covid restrictions I have not seen the results hence satisfactory ratings.)
