Barnby Court Care Home

A very calm environment for residents. Friendly staff who work very hard, food is of good quality and plenty of choice.

Dad has been in Barnby Court now for nearly two years, sadly suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s. The home is very well-run and spotlessly clean. The residents are regularly entertained with music and games to which family is always encouraged to join in where possible. The food is all home-cooked on-site and is of a very high standard with lovely homemade cakes. Dad is always kept well-groomed and seems very happy and content. It was a very difficult decision to put Dad into care, but I couldn’t be happier with the choice we made. The staff are so dedicated, friendly, caring, patient and always happy to help, I cannot compliment them enough. I would not hesitate to recommend Barnby Court if you are looking for residential care for your loved one.

My mum has been at Barnby Court for 3 years now. She is extremely happy there and in a safe, caring environment. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and great with the residents. They are also extremely helpful when I phone or visit. Communication with the care home is excellent. I receive phone calls from them when they have any concerns and regular emails with details of events that have taken place. When I have needed to visit to fit around my work hours or pick up my mum for an appointment, they have always been extremely accommodating. My mum is extremely happy there and I am happy that she is well looked after by lovely people who do care.

Somewhat anxious about bringing Mum in, I wasn't sure how it would work. Thankfully, the staff are nothing short of geniuses! They empathised with her straight away and made her feel comfortable, from the cook to management to the fantastic carers themselves, calling out the director who is just fabulous and personable. I'm also treated like a resident and offered refreshments at every opportunity! Thank you.

I cannot fault the wonderful staff, cleanliness and support given to my mother-in-law. The food and homeliness are second to none. The staff really show kindness to all residents and you can see everyone cares. I would like to see more staff so they can spend even more with residents.

My experience of this nursing home has always been the same whenever I visit. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I observe the staff being extremely kind and helpful to all the residents and treat them all with dignity. All the staff work extremely hard.

Mum seems happy here, she loves the food and the homemade cakes. I have been kept well informed of any changes or how Mum has been. Mum enjoys sitting in the middle lounge, she says it's peaceful. She likes to look out at the beautiful garden

Mum has been in Barnby Court Care Home for over two years and is very happy and settled. Gets all the care and attention she requires. Enjoys her days here and we know she is safe and being looked after to a good standard and by lovely staff.

Barnby Court Care Home is the most wonderful friendly place to be. Kind ought to be in big capital letters. The residents are all looked after so well and staff meet all their needs 100% and more. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone.

My dad has only been a resident of Barnby Court for the last few months. In my opinion, the care given has been of a high standard throughout. He receives care and support of a very high standard. My dad is very content and happy, all his needs are met. The home itself is always clean and the staff are very respectful and helpful. What more could one ask? I give it 5 stars out of five.

This care home has made my mother-in-law so comfortable, she didn't want to go home, now a permanent resident. The staff are so caring and nothing too much trouble. The staff treat her as one of their own. Very good care in every respect.

Mother is well looked after, she has everything she needs within the home. I am kept up to date with her needs and any care issues.

No words to express how highly I regard Barnby Court and all its staff. My aunt recently died there after 16 years and 51 weeks. The care she always had here was superb, and the care she had in her last days was beyond wonderful - plus lots of TLC for me.

I used Barnby Court for respite for my client while I went on holiday. The staff were lovely with her and looked after her very well.
