The home is purpose built and situated near the centre of Sutton in Ashfield making it ideal for local amenities. The home specialises in Dementia care along with caring for the younger physically disabled offering long and short term care as well as facilities to provide day care.

Staff have a great deal of experience in maintaining a calm and pleasing environment which is beneficial to good mental health, with up to thirty-nine residents all receiving a personal service.

Activities play a big part in the home and on offer there are a wide range of events catering to each individuals needs. Some examples include: baking, arts & crafts, gardening, exercise, life skills and pet care. Other specialist therapies are also available. These can include reminiscence therapy, doll therapy and complimentary therapies. The home also has its own sensory room.

There are two other Ashmere care facilities in close proximity which allows for a greater versatility and sharing of care expertise.

My experience of Sutton Lodge is of a caring, friendly home providing decent size rooms, excellent meals with plentiful activities to suit all states. A good level of carers always seems to be at hand to attend to the many issues relating to the elderly residents. My mum has settled really well and
talks of Sutton Lodge as her home. I really don't think we could have got any better care home than this.

The Sutton Lodge staff have been absolutely brilliant with Mamma and all the residents. They are very caring and compassionate and can never do enough; they always keep us informed about any changes and keep us up to date with all their care and needs. It is now over two years since Dad has been with you. He is so settled and looks like a different person to the man in 2020. The staff look after him very well and do everything possible - it is wonderful he goes out in the sunshine - he loves it! Thank you so much - especially for taking him on the

Sutton Lodge care home staff are all extremely caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. My dad has really been settled into Sutton Lodge. Having been diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2018, I was worried about how he would settle, but the staff have been amazing, making sure he is comfortable and safe
at all times. I cannot praise the care home enough; it is truly outstanding.

This was my first visit, and I was quite nervous. Felt at ease immediately and felt very welcome. Was very impressed with the decor and facilities. Cleanliness was very good. Relative was comfortable and full of praise, mostly as her condition gives ups and downs. You never know what life will throw

I have nothing but absolute praise for Sutton Lodge care home and its staff.
They have cared for my elderly mum for the past two years, during the most difficult times we've ever witnessed.
She has 24hour care, three meals plus treats every day, activities and entertainers. Also, very importantly

My mum has been with you for almost a year. In this time, she has been treated with great care and respect. So much so, that when her recovery from her fall was over, she did not want to leave Sutton Lodge! So we made arrangements for her to say. She is now a lot healthier due to better nutrition, and

The care at Sutton Lodge is second to none. As I live some distance away, it's very important to me that she is in a place where she is loved and treated as one of the family. My grandmother has been a resident of Sutton Lodge care home since the beginning of the Pandemic, March 2020. Although these continue to be difficult times, the care she receives is exemplary. The staff go above and beyond to ensure relatives have as much contact as possible.
