In the fifteen months my husband has been in Tuxford Manor, his health and mindset have improved. I think that's because he gets on well with the staff. If I have any queries or questions, I can talk easily to the manager or any other staff member. The manager is also concerned about me as the wife of a resident too. I can recommend Tuxford Manor to anyone who needs 24/7 care.

I have been visiting Tuxford Manor for many years. Each time they have given a hundred per cent e.g. my mum was in the Manor for five and a half years. At the moment I am visiting a very close friend and the care he receives is second to none. The staff are very helpful and kind. The manager is always there for me when I need help, so caring.

He was received with the greatest care. The food is wonderful, he is putting weight on. All his needs are met with a smile and cheerful chatter. All questions he has are kindly sorted for him. All visitors are welcomed even his dog, he's never seen such care. Thank you all.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions or find out if they don't know. They cannot do enough for you. The manager's office door is always open.

Mum was cared for really good, she got used to all the staff and carers. She enjoyed her time in there.

I love this place. When I leave I know that my mum is well looked after by kind and compassionate staff who are well trained.

The home has a welcoming feel to it and the management is very supportive. The staff work very hard to be attentive and caring to the residents. The process of having to put parents into care is tough but Tuxford made this bearable and with time, I am evermore comfortable with where they are and that they are well looked after and have the company of other residents and stimulation from staff and environment.

Dementia is a horrible condition and it is scary to have to take control of your parent's future. I feel very lucky to have found such a safe and caring new home for them. They are well cared for, happy and I have confidence that they are looked after. I wish they were not in care, but since they need to be, this is about as good as it gets.

The care offered to my father was excellent - friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, I found the service provided reassuring.

First impression the home is clean and well managed. All the residents are well cared for, all visitors are well informed and any questions answered. Even with the bad weather, the home was well staffed with all needs covered.

I find the staff professional and friendly, they go beyond the call of duty and always have a smile for everyone. The staff motivate the residents and have a lot of fun. Relatives are always made welcome. The home is clean and Mum has improved greatly, she is so much more animated than before. The staff are amazing and the home is family friendly on every visit. The manager motivates her staff and is always available to call on if there is anything I need, her door is always open for everyone.

I would like to say that I would rate this care home 150% if I could. The staff and management team are brilliant and very supportive. I know that my Aunt has been happy with the care she has received and the welcome both she and myself have had. I would recommend Tuxford Manor to anyone, everyone is fantastic!

Apprehensive about using any care home. This one recommended by a friend whose mother was here several years. Impressed by initial tour, friendly, knowledgeable staff. The manager was patient with our questions, knew all staff and residents and their requirements. Took time to find out Mum's needs and accommodate. Mum was instantly comfortable, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. She loves everyone and we can't find any fault with the care or accommodation. It is the perfect place for her to end her days.
