Overall Experience

Mum was brought into Heywood Court as an emergency case in May 2016. From the outset the staff have taken exceptional care of her. She is now here permanently. Mum has settled and has put on weight. She is far less stressed and whilst her dementia has deteriorated she seems happy. The care home is clean, very modern and the staff are without exception helpful, friendly, caring and supportive. Fabulous place for those in need of 24 hour care.

My mum is happy every time I visit her, she is kept clean, well fed and all the staff talk to her with feeling. The staff treat all the residents with friendship. Very nice to witness the way the staff are with the residents.

Overall Experience

My mother became resident at Heywood Court from August 2015 and I as her POA and daughter have found staff pleasant and extremely helpful at all times. As I am not local to the care home the staff always keep me informed. My mother is very well looked after there. My only concern would be the toilet is at a low height and not very suitable for the very elderly and frail. Otherwise the care home is extremely good.

I am happy with the care at Heywood Court. The home is a very good standard. The staff do an excellent job. Very friendly and helpful, music playing throughout the day, tea, coffee, juices and cakes in the afternoon before evening meal, all are excellent turned out, clean no smells, everybody happy. I would recommend this care home to everybody. Lots of activities, parties, Christmas, birthday parties, dancing when they bring entertainment in everybody joins in. Most of all my mum is happy.

Review from Ian T (Son of Resident) published on 22 December 2015 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My father is kept very safely within the care home. He has a comfortable spacious room with all required facilities. The quality of the food is excellent. The staff are very friendly, approachable and helpful. They are good at informing me if there has been an incident with my Dad or if he has had an accident or become ill.

The care home could provide a lot more stimulating activities and my father is often left sitting doing nothing. Also, in the 12 months that my father has been a resident he has lost a lot of personal property including glasses, hearing aids and clothing.
