Bryn Haven is a delightful property that has been refurbished and upgraded specifically to suit adults with complex mental health conditions and dementia.

It is located in the Brinnington area of Stockport with close links to the local pedestrianised shopping area and health centre.

The home can accommodate up to 41 residents, offering a choice of communal lounges, including a wonderful, large conservatory, which provides a bright and airy seating area.

Residents can enjoy a game of dominoes, or snakes and ladders in the games room, or choose to take in some fresh air in the newly refurbished summerhouse.

Bryn Haven is also suitable for residents with mobility issues, with carers always working to understand the needs of each individual person.

We have been amazed at how many Xmas & New year activities they have put on over this period and how we were encouraged to attend & participate. We have been able to make some more memorable memories with our mum as a family.

Bryn Haven is a warm, caring and friendly home that is 100% focused on the needs of the residents.
The home is well managed and the staff are happy, caring, very approachable and all treat the residents with dignity.The home is clean, food excellent and the activities and entertainment are outstanding,
everyone is focused on making the residents happy and contented.
My mum has settled in well to life at the home and as a family we have peace of mind that she is well looked after and safe.

My mother became a resident at Bryn Haven in August 2025. We had to make a very quick decision about her care home, we chose Bryn Haven due to finances. We had not visited prior to this and from the moment she arrived there were no concerns. She was greeted with love and happiness and she has been treated
in the same way ever since.

My mum seems so content and relaxed in the home ...staff always great her with a smile and address her when speaking to mum.I always feel happy when I come to visit and mums hair is done and shes wearing a lovely clean and fresh outfit. Mum's room is always warm and clean with fresh bedding. All these

Dad suffered with dementia and was a resident at Bryn Haven for eight years. Over that time he was looked after with the greatest of respect and care.
The staff are amazing, I cannot thank them enough for their support with Dad. He was lucky to have found such a lovely environment for his last years.
We will always be thankful to the staff at Bryn Haven.

My husband has resided at Bryn Haven for over 4 years now.The staff are very professional in their care for him. Many of the staff have been at the home four years or more and the continuity is a definite benefit for my husband. There is a prgramme of activities for the residents, although my husband
doesn't tend to take part but he enjoys the singers and various entertainments. he is now limited in his diet and has trouble with his swollow and he seems to miss out sometimes on the party side of certain occasions. Overall I am happy with his care.

My mum came to Bryn Haven for respite but needed to be placed permanently. All staff care for the residents to the highest standard. Nothing is too much trouble. It's a calm environment, all incidents dealt with sufficiently, timing allowed. Residents are clean. Rooms and surrounding areas modern, clean
and homely.

My father is well looked after at Bryn Haven he is able to express his needs himself and staff respond appropriately, he is treated with dignity. My father expresses that he feels safe at Bryn Haven. Any issues that arise are dealt with quickly & professionally. Staff are kind and attentive to residents
needs.

Our gratitude for the manager and the Bryn Haven team is immense. Before discovering this incredible place, my father's previous care home experience was distressing, with lapses leading to falls and hospitalisation. Finding a new, trustworthy home felt daunting, but Bryn Haven was our saving grace.
From
our first contact, the manager's warmth was clear. Though we were out of town, we received a virtual tour that made us feel welcomed and reassured. The caring staff and vibrant atmosphere showed us Bryn Haven was more than a care home; it was a compassionate community.
On move-in day, a video call lifted our spirits - my father was laughing with the hairdresser, enjoying his first haircut in months. Since then, he's been happier and healthier. Each visit, we're warmly welcomed, offered tea, and see how staff know each resident personally.
Their safety measures, like chair alarms and attentive staff, give us peace of mind. The manager and her team have made this decision one of the best we've ever made.

Bryn Haven has been absolutely fantastic in their care for my grandma. They went above and beyond to ensure she settled when she first arrived and while she was there. I will always be eternally grateful to all the staff at Bryn Haven for what they did, both for my grandma and also for the support they
gave myself and my family. I would definitely recommend Bryn Haven.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am that my dad is cared for and looked after by a great team at Bryn Haven. The staff are usually very welcoming and polite and are happy to answer any questions or give advice if asked for. Even though my dad is now bed-bound I can tell that he is comfortable
and while it is difficult to know his feelings I get the sense that he is happy with his room and surroundings. He is lucky enough to have a garden view which is very calming.
