The staff really encourage residents to mix together and pick up what each individual enjoys and will engage in. The family member is really settling in well.

My Auntie stayed at Peel Moat Care Home for two weeks respite care. She had stayed there on two previous occasions and her son and I had been extremely pleased with the care she received and this last visit did not disappoint. All the staff are so patient, kind and caring and welcomed her back like one of the family, making her feel at home straight away. The Home itself has a bright and cheerful atmosphere and my Auntie's room was lovely, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We also like the fact that family and friends are welcome to visit at any time of the day without prior notice.

Thank you very much for your review. It is important for us to hear that the residents who come to stay for a short while, are just as settled and cared for as the residents who chose Peel Moat to be their home. It is hard for the team to get to know our guest residents so quickly, but they always...

Very good care home, provides support and care for my mum. The staff are always friendly and approachable. Trips are provided very enjoyable for mum. Mum seems to be happy in the environment she is in, and enjoys as much as she can.

It is a year since my mother moved into Peel Moat following a short stay in hospital. I still visit each day, so can vouch for the diligent way that the residents are cared for. It is a credit to the staff that they remain calm, friendly and cheerful despite the long and demanding shifts that they work. They respond well to the needs and preferences of the individual residents and do all they can to make it a happy, comfortable and safe environment.

I have visited Peel Moat Care Home for a number of years - there have been significant improvements at the home in terms of decoration, furnishings etc. which have made Peel Moat a really lovely home. The staff are very good - nothing is too much trouble and they make family and friends of residents very welcome.

In particular, I have found the nursing manager, fantastic. Her relationships with the residents are second to none - she an excellent role model. Thank you for making Peel Moat a good home for an elderly, quite unwell friend.
