Reinbek

My dad has been a resident of Reinbek for over two years now and whenever we visit him he is always smiling and happy. Even though he has a lack of understanding or awareness of his surroundings the staff regularly engage with him and I do believe all Reinbeck staff treat him like an individual. We always receive feedback from the home and are kept fully updated if dads needs change or if their care has had to adapt to meet those needs. One very big point to make is that if we ever have any concerns and we have to question anything , Reinbek always thoroughly investigate from their side and are very open and honest - they always make the time to listen to us

Reinbek is Amazing, Staff are Brilliant, very Approachable, They have become like family whilst dad has been there for 2 yrs. If we ever (it is not often) have a problem, we know we can talk to someone & it will be resolved. My only issue I have is that there isn't enough going on in the day to keep residents occupied. My dad has dementia so probably wouldn't bother him but there are residents who are of sound mind who are very bored.

Since my mum moved into Reinbek Care Home in March 2026, she has received excellent care from all the staff, they all take time when caring/feeding her & fully understand her needs. They also all take time to chat to my Dad & make him really welcome

My Dad has been a resident at Reinbek for three months now. The staff are fantastic. They are friendly, caring and insightful. The food is brilliant (especially the puddings) and the home is clean and tidy. For warmer weather the garden is lovely.

Reinbek staff are very pleasant and helpful. The front desk administrator has always acted promptly to any requests for help. My mum likes the food and joining in any activities offered. She particularly likes being able to have her hair done on a regular basis and joining in the occasional church visit. Compared to our other experience of care homes, Reinbek is to be recommended.

Overall we are happy with Reinbek. My mum is content, but wishes she was still in her home. My only issue (and hers) is that she is often left/told to wait when she needs the toilet - this is especially when one shift ends and the other starts - the ones finishing don't want to get involved by 7.50 and the new shift doesn't appear till 8.10 - 8.15. Twenty minutes where avoidable toilet accidents happen making more work and embarrassing for mum when wet through.

Reinbeck is a very clean and friendly home, the food choice is excellent. My sister is well looked after, the only complaint I have is my sister who is not mobile and therefore needs help with toileting sometimes has to wait for staff to come and assist her this does tend to make her quite distressed.

Found Reinbek to be a clean comfortable home. The room is a decent size and kept clean and the home always smells pleasant. There's a lovely refurbished main lounge with good facilities. The only negative is that there has been no permanent activities person for almost a year. The have been some activities taking place but not to the same amount as there would be with a dedicated person to coordinate activities.

I was poorly a couple of times during December but looked after really well and asked if I wanted to see a doctor which I declined. I recovered well, my room was cleaned most days except when I wasn't well. The staff and management team are very helpful and supportive. Security has improved and is quite safe now.

The room my Mum is in is small, but anything compared to having a 3 bed family home to yourself is going to feel small. Reinbek have been fabulous putting up ALL her photos on the wall. She is happy and safe

Excellent care and patience, attention for all patients and visitors to Reinbek. Good attitude for visitors, patients and other staff.

Friendly atmosphere to residents & visitors. Big shout to the two laundry ladies, senior care staff who look after the residents day-to-day needs & keep the relatives informed if they become ill & give them extra help.

My Mum has been a resident at Reinbek for the last 6 years. I've always been really happy with the care and attention she receives here. The staff are lovely, always welcoming, kind and friendly. Communication is great too, and they're quick to let me know if there are ever any concerns. It's very reassuring knowing she's being so well looked after.

Mums been well looked after at Reinbek for two years now. She's really struggling physically but the staff have always been so kind to her. We feel very fortunate to have found Reinbek, all the residents seem really happy and we enjoy visiting most days. A big thanks to all the lovely staff.

My mum moved in five months ago, and after living alone for over 5 years initially found it tricky socialising with staff and other residents, the staff however have been truly exceptional - kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They know her routines, remember her stories, and always have time for a chat. The home itself feels warm and welcoming, not institutional. Activities are varied, the food is lovely, and it's wonderful to see her so happy and relaxed. As a family we are all really happy with the care she has received and with the progress she has made

As far as my experience goes, Reinbek is simply the best care home of its type in the Stockport area, and the only really desirable choice we had for my Mum. In these situations, one can always find things to complain about - any way you look at it, a person's later years are fraught with frustration and worry. Nevertheless, Reinbek deliver the care she needs. I am satisfied and grateful that she is in capable hands, and in such beautiful surroundings.

With regard to Dionne and Julie. I have contacted them via email/phone on a number of occasions over the last few weeks. Both have been extremely helpful, very quick to respond and it gives me reassurance that my Mums care is in good hands.

Dad is happy here and we are able to take him out when we can. We do feel he is well looked after here.
