Over all time Reinbek has 75 reviews.
My wife has been in Reinbek for four years. She has been well looked after and cared for to a high standard. There is always something going on, bingo, day trips out, entertainment, singers and music.
Thank you very much for your review, we will be sure to pass this on to the staff here at Reinbek.
Plenty of activities and someone to chat to.
My mother in law is very very happy and settled at Reinbeck and thinks of this as home.
Social environment and care staff were good. Cleanliness was excellent. Food, good.
The care provided at Reinbek is excellent. We have enjoyed visiting Dad and received help, care and a great welcome there. The staff are lovely. They genuinely cared about Dad and made visits enjoyable and reassuring. He has recovered well whilst in the care of Reinbek staff. I cannot thank all the staff we have encountered enough. Thank you!
No proper management. Some care staff excellent, others, not so good and rude. Meals hit and miss and not much variety. Residents don't get to know each other. No activities, management have no authority over their own staff and they get away with a lot. Not enough for residents to do and can be isolated and lonely at times. Would not think value for money.
Kind regards.
All staff friendly, affable, caring and helpful. Room kept clean and attention to all my mother's requirements is on-going with attention to detail. I cannot fault the overall atmosphere of Reinbek, which is kind-hearted with much humour. After five years I remain grateful for the caring experience my mother has enjoyed in Reinbek.
Moving to a care home is such a life-changing event it's reassuring for me to observe professional, caring staff with management support. It is always a welcoming and friendly environment. Importantly the resource levels and recruiting standards are A1. It is clear to me and by reputation that your precious family members are indeed in a most desirable residence
Special thanks go to all the staff and manager for leading by example and being receptive to new suggestions and pro-active to support activities and events. Dads been to Chester Zoo, Blackpool, Tea Dances and took part in many onsite activities.
Often Care Homes make claims that are in fact not reality not delivered. The Reinbeck Team strive passionately to make things happen and the back office staff help pull it together, phone calls are answered promptly, nothing is too much trouble, the cleaners and laundry staff are also excellent.
Thank you for your kind feedback.
Care is usually good, some carers more empathetic than others.
The cleanliness of all parts of the home is excellent.
They attend very quickly to any medical needs, often identifying them before the resident does.
Overall the food is good but the choice of ready-made sandwiches is poor.
Staff should intervene to resolve disputes between residents without the need for a written request to do so.
The garden is pleasant and the staff make an effort to provide a homely atmosphere.
My father has commented that the standard of the meals has gone down recently.
We have been delighted with Reinbek since the first day my mother moved in there. The staff are fantastic, and always so caring and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble and my mum is happy and very well looked after. The decision to move a parent in to residential care is a harrowing one, and we are so grateful to know that Reinbek was the very best choice for my mum. Even as her needs have changed over time they have always been met in a professional and appropriate way. Thank you to all at Reinbek.
I find Reinbek to be a comfortable and friendly environment with very helpful staff who have assisted Mum to settle in. Her room is lovely, clean and comfortable and she feels safe and secure. She is always clean and well dressed when I visit, with her hair and nails done! A special thank you to the "laundry ladies" for the wonderful service provided and who are always very pleasant. Menus could be a little more tempting and varied but overall satisfactory. An entertainments organiser has only recently been introduced, she is first class and does her best to encourage residents to participate. She always has a smile on her face and the performers and trips out have been thoroughly welcomed and enjoyed by all. Communication from the Management has been excellent. The transition from care in her own home to residential care has been very good and any problems that arose have been sympathetically handled and dealt with. I have peace of mind that Mum is being well looked after.
My mother was a resident for 13 months. She was always treated with great respect and kindness by all the staff from the cleaners upwards. It was very obvious how fond they all were of my mother and they were a huge support to me and my family during the last few weeks of mums life. I'm glad the building is soon to be modernised as some of the rooms definitely need a facelift but I cannot fault the care in anyway which is the most important thing.
Mum has been a resident at Reinbek for approximately sixteen months. She has lived on her own for twenty yea4rs after dad died and so Reinbek was the best place for her to be because there are other residents she can mix with in the day room. Because of her mobility problems the carers have the expertise of knowing of how to move and handle her. Recently mum has had a sore on her heel the carers have requested GP/District Nurse to dress her wound.
I live at Reinbek and enjoy the friends i have made. Staff are always pleasant and I am treated well.
