Offering bespoke residential and residential dementia care, Fazakerley House care home is situated in the peaceful residential area of Prescot, in Merseyside.

There is much to love about this welcoming setting; residents enjoy spending time at the hair salon, in the sunny conservatory or going on trips out exploring the local area in the minibus. If they prefer the comforts of home, or are unable to venture outside, residents can also enjoy relaxation time in the range of en-suite and premier bedrooms.

Residents also benefit from quality meals prepared by the in house catering team. Recognising the nutritional requirements of older people, the team offer a wide variety of meals to be enjoyed in the spacious and welcoming dining areas. During the warmer months, the peaceful garden is also a firm favourite with residents and their loved ones to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.

The care provided at the home is second to none. The care team apply their experience to get to know residents' care needs, carrying out regular reviews so they are able to respond to any changes. But on top of this, they also work hard to make sure residents know they are valued as an individual, offering a range of opportunities for them to get involved in things that they enjoy.

We came to the summer fair and staff were really caring towards the residents and visitors. Lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed the day.

My aunt is currently resident, awaiting completion of her special care housing scheme. She has found the staff extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. She is happy with the meals although not a fan of 'buffet style' tea! She enjoys a wide variety of home cooked meals. The only downside she
has is she would like more group activities like bingo and sing-alongs, maybe simple crafts. We enjoyed the family fun day.

I have lived her nearly five and a half years now and I have made a lot of friends and all the staff are very attentive and very nice people. They are very helpful and understanding if you happen to have any problems you are worried about. The food and drinks are very good.

Moved in on July 2017 and found everything great. Food good, room good, location good and as my family live in the area, this is a bonus. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Instead of wasting money and time sending things like this back, it would be better spent on light bulbs. My father was told he couldn't have one because of budgets!! We bought some ourselves last week.
The form was signed on behalf of our father as he cannot now use his right hand. Also since completing
this, the staffing has gone to pot, with residents being left in bed until midday without drinks. Improvements required.

I would like to reassure you that there is no issue with our budgets and we have plenty of stock and the ability to order as many light bulbs as we need.


I was sorry to hear when I first started, that some residents were not being assisted until late morning, so I put in place a robust system that made sure that all residents were assisted at a respectable time, to ensure they received the food and fluids that they required.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Jane has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Jane closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Jane remarked:


“Achieving goals and getting good outcomes”


Outside of work, Jane is very family orientated and loves spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoys going on regular holidays.
