My Mother went into Acacia Court recently. She has a large airy room, with excellent views. The home is nicely decorated and finished. It is light and welcoming as are all the staff.

My Mother is happy living at Acacia Court, which I believe is a good recommendation. The Manager works hard to maintain, and also raise, standards. She welcomes feedback from relatives and responds quickly to resolve any concerns raised. The Manager and her staff are friendly, kind and attentive
to residents, and also offer support to relatives and visitors. There are regular activities each week, which are designed to engage and stimulate residents. My Mother particularly enjoys those activities involving music and singing. The entertainment arranged over the Christmas period was excellent. In the past year, residents have enjoyed a number of things, including an Easter Party, a summer barbeque and a trip out to Knowsley Safari Park. Families and friends are always invited to join residents and staff on all of these occasions.

The staff are wonderful, very caring and considerate, respectful and they engage with all the residents. There is good entertainment most days and the food is varied and well cooked. The staff keep family and friends well informed about their loved ones and about all that is going on at the home. They
deal with situations promptly and communicate effectively. The staff are very kind and caring.

The staff are all very friendly and always have time for the residents here.
There are varied activities during the week to keep the residents active, shows are performed on a regular basis and are excellent.
My Mother in Law has put on weight since arriving at Acacia and we are very pleased with
the home and its staff.

My mother has been a resident at Acacia Court for five years. During this time her needs have changed considerably. Regular reviews have taken place and changes made to meet her needs. Staff are friendly and helpful and keep me updated where necessary. The manager is very approachable at all times and
very 'hands on'. I am very happy with her care at Acacia Court.

My mother, at 98 years old, realised she needed residential care along with her family. We chose Acacia Court where she was always been treated with dignity, love and respect. She is now 103 years old- she is completely immobile and has dementia but she remains there and continues to be treated with
love and respect. All the residents now have dementia in one form or another. The staff on the floor remain patient and kind.

My name is Lynsey Rafferty and I am delighted to introduce myself as the General Manager for Acacia Court. With over 15 years of experience in the care sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge in both resident support and management.


I am fully qualified in all aspects of health and social care, including safeguarding and quality monitoring. My background has allowed me to build strong, transparent relationships with local authorities, the CQC and the families and friends who are integral to our residents' well-being. Together, I believe we can create a nurturing and joyful environment for your loved ones. My goal is to provide excellent care, structure and continuity, fostering a home where laughter and friendships thrive.


At Acacia Court, we are dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming home for all our residents. We strive to bring love, care, kindness, and laughter into the lives of every person in our community. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment where everyone feels valued, respected and happy.
