With a team of devoted staff, many of whom have been there for over 15 years, Bradwell Court has a warm, family feel. Providing residential and dementia care, they also provide pre-bookable respite care breaks.

The 27 bedrooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, with walk-in ensuite bathrooms.

The large, enclosed gardens are stunning and are a wonderful place to relax with loved ones, who are welcome at any time. This summer they have had a complete transformation and feature beautiful flower beds, solar lighting, a water feature and rockery. There are also wheelchair friendly pathways and raised planters, so they can be enjoyed by everybody.

This summer the residents and their loved ones enjoyed a beach-themed day in the gardens, with an ice cream van, beach games and sandpits.

And the residents have loved growing their own fruit and vegetables, which the chef has used in the kitchens. They have grown everything from tomatoes and runner beans, to celery, carrots and broccoli.

The team are passionate about enriching the lives of their residents, who have a very active role to play in how their home is run, providing feedback on everything from the menu to the activities.

Many of the residents enjoy baking and gardening with the staff, or helping to prepare the vegetables for dinner, as many would have done in their own homes, giving them a sense of purpose and belonging.

And the chef makes delicious, home-cooked meals, from roast dinners with all the trimmings, to stir fries and curries, with home-baking for afternoon tea.

There is so much going on at Bradwell Court, from crafts and games, pamper sessions and music and movement, to live entertainment. And a hairdresser visits for regular appointments in the salon.

The home also has its own private Facebook group for family and friends, so they can see what their loved ones have been enjoying doing.

A fantastic environment for my mum to live in. She has made lots of new friends and settled in well. Her room is great with everything she needs, overlooking a lovely garden. The care team members are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. My mum is treated with dignity and respect at
all times. Communication from the team is thorough and I'm updated as required. Activities are organised on a regular basis and residents can choose to participate or not. The building is well-maintained and always spotlessly clean.

My mum has been a resident of Bradwell Court Residential Care Home for just over a year now and the care she has received during this time has been excellent. Unfortunately of late, my mum’s condition has deteriorated but I have been absolutely delighted by the response of the management team and all
the wonderful carers who have done everything possible to meet her changing needs. I cannot fault the care and attention my mum continues to receive - I thank my lucky stars every day that we managed to find my mum such a caring, homely and friendly place to live.

I am so glad that we opted for Bradwell Court when deciding on my mother’s care. The care quality is excellent and exceeds expectations. Staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble, even when they are rushed off their feet! The whole building is very clean and modern, unlike the more ‘traditional’
care homes and the rooms are a good size with facilities you would not normally expect to have. I wouldn’t let my mother stay anywhere else!

My husband has settled into the care home very well and is content with the services provided. I did think that he would take a while to adjust but that was a concern that did not arise thanks to staff friendliness.

Putting a parent into a care home has to be the most heartbreaking thing that anyone has to do. Being able to find the right place where staff will treat your parent like one of their favourite relatives in a homely atmosphere. Well, I have found this at Bradwell Court Residential Care Home. Seeing
mum settled, content, clean and well dressed whenever you visit and these are random visits, different days and times. The staff are really dedicated to their jobs, always vigilant, being attentive as to what is going on around them. Polite, always smiling and chatting to the residents. There are always things going on in the lounge so no one gets bored. The chef and his dedicated team provide fresh, home-cooked foods which would not be out of place in a restaurant, which are always well-received by the residents.
The manager is approachable and any queries are dealt with as soon as possible and I’m always kept up to date with Mum's progress.
Mum's first words entering Bradwell were I’m home, I think these will be her last.

Staff are kindness itself and the care home manager at Bradwell Court has been exceptionally helpful, and always accessible, during a most stressful and difficult time for our entire family. I feel relief and comfort knowing that my husband is being so well cared for, in a kind, pleasant, clean and
safe environment. The food is excellent quality, well presented and a credit to the cook and dining room team. What impresses me most, is the genuine, caring nature of the staff and I have the joy of being able to telephone or visit the home at any time. There are no visiting restrictions and I always feel welcome when visiting the home. The management team understands that my wellbeing depends on my husband’s wellbeing and I am so very grateful to have found somewhere so kind, caring, compassionate and empathetic.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his respite stay at Bradwell Court Residential Care Home. He said the staff were wonderful (which I agree). The food was brilliant and the entire place was very clean. He will be happy to go there again.

Bradwell Court has a lovely atmosphere, a warm, caring family feel. Everyone is included and made to feel part of this little community. The residents’ individual needs appear to be fully met within this lovely environment. Staff are motivated, kind and their rapport with all the folks is just great.
My wife and I always feel welcome to visit at any time and we both feel that Bradwell Court is a well-run and well-led care home which is testament to it's brilliant team.

Mum was extremely well cared for. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Tea and ginger biscuits are delivered to her room first thing in the morning. The bedrooms are very spacious, light and airy. The activities were great, it was nice to see all the staff engaging with the residents, even the
chef! A second quieter lounge for non-dementia patients would be a good addition.

My husband settled in well when he arrived. The rooms are large and comfortable, with views over the peaceful gardens and some rooms have views of the countryside beyond. There have been some interesting activities provided for the residents, indoors and out of doors. The staff are caring and get to
know their residents well and can often anticipate their needs, which they deal with in a warm and friendly way, when possible. The food always looks delicious.

My father has been living here since June. Both myself and his previous carer who looked after him at home, are so pleased with his progress. Although his mobility is very poor, the staff are encouraging and he's interacting with more people. Rooms are lovely, spacious and kept very clean, so are all
areas of the home. The staff are warm and welcoming.

Dad needed to have residential care after hospital and losing his wife of 64 years. Social services flagged up he had lost capacity to live alone. Bradwell Court is a wonderful, friendly home. All staff are excellent and Dad looks really well in their care. He enjoys chatting to other residents. It's
so nice to see Dad happy after recent events of health and loss.

Our wonderful Mum, who has Alzheimer's, moved to Bradwell Court in September 2020. She couldn't have gone there at a more difficult time during the pandemic. Bradwell Court has kept her safe and well cared for during these extremely challenging times. She is very active and as it is a small home they
are more than happy to allow her to walk around as much as she wants. She is engaged in many activities, which is so important and is often seen smiling and laughing. The staff are very caring and go that extra mile whenever we have any concerns or requests, they are a great team. We are so delighted to be able to visit Mum in her room now and take her out in the car, always being very careful and safe, and following the rules.
Bradwell Court was recommended to us by a friend whose Mum was there a couple of years ago and we will always be eternally grateful and feel lucky to have found it.

Bradwell Court provided a kind and caring home to my father for the last six months of his life. They provided a varied and interesting range of activities to keep his mind and body active, were unfailingly attentive to his desires and needs, and went above and beyond to make his last few months as
happy and comfortable as possible. The staff were all excellent and the home maintained to a very high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend Bradwell Court.

Obviously, due to Covid, I have not been able to go in to visit my mother at Bradwell Court but I have been able to "view" her through a window. Under the circumstances, this works quite well although she's not really sure of who I am and needs to be reminded several times during the visit she seems
to enjoy it. The staff there are fantastic, even through a window you can see that they are doing a good job and work well as a team. They are always very caring and loving towards my mum and are always very caring towards me too. If there are any problems with mum they ring up to inform/discuss them with me. Bradwell Court is the best place I could have taken my mum to as I feel the manager and her staff are all doing an excellent job of protecting the residents from Covid.
