With a team of devoted staff, many of whom have been there for over 15 years, Bradwell Court has a warm, family feel. Providing residential and dementia care, they also provide pre-bookable respite care breaks.

The 27 bedrooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, with walk-in ensuite bathrooms.

The large, enclosed gardens are stunning and are a wonderful place to relax with loved ones, who are welcome at any time. This summer they have had a complete transformation and feature beautiful flower beds, solar lighting, a water feature and rockery. There are also wheelchair friendly pathways and raised planters, so they can be enjoyed by everybody.

This summer the residents and their loved ones enjoyed a beach-themed day in the gardens, with an ice cream van, beach games and sandpits.

And the residents have loved growing their own fruit and vegetables, which the chef has used in the kitchens. They have grown everything from tomatoes and runner beans, to celery, carrots and broccoli.

The team are passionate about enriching the lives of their residents, who have a very active role to play in how their home is run, providing feedback on everything from the menu to the activities.

Many of the residents enjoy baking and gardening with the staff, or helping to prepare the vegetables for dinner, as many would have done in their own homes, giving them a sense of purpose and belonging.

And the chef makes delicious, home-cooked meals, from roast dinners with all the trimmings, to stir fries and curries, with home-baking for afternoon tea.

There is so much going on at Bradwell Court, from crafts and games, pamper sessions and music and movement, to live entertainment. And a hairdresser visits for regular appointments in the salon.

The home also has its own private Facebook group for family and friends, so they can see what their loved ones have been enjoying doing.

I would like to thank all the staff at Bradwell Court for the care they gave to my mother in the months leading up to her death. She arrived at the care home in February aged 91, a disorientated and very depressed lady suffering from mild dementia. She had lived alone for eight years after losing my
dad and was becoming a recluse - only wanting to see very close family.
Bradwell Court turned all that around and made her about as happy as anyone could be in these times of Covid. She often told me how kind the staff were and I could see that from the way they treated her with respect, dignity and eventually love. They encouraged her to make friends and were absolutely fantastic in trying to make her life interesting and mentally stimulating - their virtual tour of the world project was inspired. Being able to talk to her or the staff 24/7 also gave me confidence that they do their best for their residents every day. I don't think we could have asked for more. Thank you again.

Resident to staff ratio is good, and the staff are very helpful. Spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities give each resident a comfortable 'private area'. The food is very good and varied, each resident can choose from the main meal menu each day. Since moving to Bradwell Court, my mother has been
happier and content.

All staff very professional and show a genuine personal interest in all the residents. Staff always very caring, going above and beyond requirements. Bradwell Court, Congleton might only be small compared with other care homes, but the staff there are amazing. Since the problems of the lockdown, they have gone that extra mile, putting residents before their own family (risk-wise). Never, ever met such dedicated staff. I see Dad through a window and
I know how much pressure they are under to help family and do their job. Can't praise them enough, as a family member, it's always nice to see familiar faces.

We have always been very happy with the care and attention they give my father-in-law. When I go to visit him, the staff always make you feel welcome. Sometimes I stop and have a meal with him and the food is always good.

After my mum going into a care home then nursing home, I was very nervous about putting Dad into a home. I only wish I'd chosen Bradwell Court for Mum. The staff make the home what it is, they are like family members, not carers. I know my dad is in safe hands, he's very happy as are we.

During the pandemic and with my mother's illness the staff have been really good at keeping me in touch with what was happening. They encouraged Mother to eat and drink to help her recovery. The Easter card and photo they sent were really nice touches.

Mum was an emergency placing due to a rapid decline in her mental state due to dementia and after one short viewing, it was the best residential home we had seen - bright, light and welcoming. Staff are friendly, capable and the rooms are large and spacious and ensuite. I couldn't ask for a better place
for Mum.

When we were looking for a place for Dad to reside, we looked at Bradwell Court amongst others. We soon got a good feel for the place. The care and professionalism of the staff were excellent. Dad loved the food and all the extra activities provided. Bingo, cake making, sing-along and many more. Beautiful
gardens which could be accessed in the summer. Sadly Dad passed away 5th February 2020. Very sad but still left all the family with very happy memories. Many thanks to all the staff.

My father has been a resident for just a few weeks, and he has been made extremely welcome. He has received excellent care. His room is excellent, and everything is very clean. The food is excellent with plenty of choices. Very pleased with how things are going. We can’t wait for the summer months because
they have a large garden where I am sure it will be lovely to sit surrounded by lovely flowers.

All of the rooms in Bradwell Court are comfortable being generously sized, with big windows and kept really clean. The Care staff are all very friendly and supportive, they work together as a team to provide dedicated and compassionate care. My father's preferences and needs were met on a daily basis,
he was encouraged and given the freedom, to do what he wanted to do when he wanted to do it. The home-cooked food was excellent with choices offered at every meal. The home is well managed and communication is good. The activity co-ordinator and staff put on a wide range of activities each week with the occasional day trip, visiting entertainers and seasonal events. Senior care staff are quick to respond to changes in resident's health and have a good working relationship with the local primary care providers. It is a team effort to provide excellent person-centered care and I would recommend this home for residential care.

When my Mother in Law decided that she wanted to go into a care home in Congleton, my husband and I knew immediately where we would prefer her to live - Bradwell Court. We had previously visited my grandmother, who was a resident for 7 years and having recently seen other homes, there was really only

My mum, aged 97, was admitted to Bradwell Court, Congleton, it felt like a happy and caring home as soon as we entered. it was a great comfort to know mum would be happy there. The care, compassion and dignity she received was excellent. Family were greeted like friends when we visited. Excellent management
and staff, I would say to anybody 'don't be afraid to send your loved one to Bradwell Court' they deserve top recommendation.

On my first visit to the home I was very impressed, all the residents looked very happy and the staff were very welcoming. My mother had a lovely large room overlooking the well-kept garden, everywhere in the building was clean and tidy.
The care and dedication the staff give to the residents is exceptional,
going beyond their duties to ensure the residents receive the best possible care.
Photographs taken by the staff of my mother enjoying the many activities during her time there have left me with many happy memories of her life. We came to regard the staff as our friends and could not have wished for a better place for my mother to spend the final months of her life.
Words can not fully describe how grateful our family feel towards the staff who cared for our mother with such compassion, love and care.
