My husband is in the care of Bentley Manor. He is so well looked after by the care workers and nursing staff which gives me peace of mind when I leave him. The cleanliness of my husband and home is second to none. Everyone is so pleasant.

My husband was admitted to Bentley Nursing Home initially for two weeks respite. I had cared for him at home since he was diagnosed with dementia ten years ago.
During his respite, he was given excellent care and attention and I feel very lucky that he is now able to stay on a permanent basis.
The staff are very friendly and really do care for the patient's welfare and dignity.

I could not ask for more and it is a great relief to me to have found such a place.

My aunt seems very happy and settled in the home. She always looks clean and tidy. Considering that she is doubly incontinent there is never any smell. She is nearly always in the main lounge and takes an interest in what is going on around her. She is now 98 and has to have her food softened and her drinks thickened.

When told we would have to sell her house to keep her there, she was upset about the cost but realises she couldn't possibly go home and be on her own. She enjoys the company and general hustle and bustle going on around her.

Thank you very much for your review. I am glad that you speak about the day to day reality of living in a care home. Many of our residents enjoy having the company of others which they would not get if they were at home on their own and this along with the close personal care people require and...

My father has been in Bentley Care Home for over two weeks now. He has settled in very well and been treated with great care and dignity by the staff.
The care home promotes mobility for the patients so they stay in good health and mind.
Meals are also very good with a range of foods so this keeps the patient's strength up.
All of the staff are very friendly and also hard working. You can tell that they care for the patients.

I would definitely recommend Bentley Care Home to others.

This is an excellent home in every respect. The staff are helpful, informative and manage to retain a sense of humour in difficult circumstances. The rooms and living conditions are also excellent. All round a good place to live in the last period of your life.

My dad suffered a major stroke in mid-December 2016. This has left him semi-paralysed and brain damaged and unable to communicate. He was in hospital for 3 months, and we had terrible trouble trying to find him a nice home. Several homes turned him down due to his condition; however, Bentley Manor accepted him straight away. On my initial visit, I was unimpressed. The lounge seemed cramped and the dining room sparse, and there didn’t seem to be any activities going on. The grounds were also rather overgrown.

We accepted a place as we were desperate to get him out of the hospital. He has now moved in, and I have to say I am so glad he was accepted there. The management has been very accommodating and understanding and the staff are all excellent. I am confident he is receiving the greatest of care, and they have given him the dignity and respect he deserves. I have visited several times now and he seems very happy and settled.

I arrived on November 17th at Bentley Manor Care Home after very long traumatic bouts of 'experiences'. It was as if magic dust had been sprinkled, I was safe, happy and relaxed, these were all new experiences to myself and one senior carer I heard remark "why are you so surprised that everything is good?" I've not known it before I have already and would always recommend Bentley Manor Care Home. There is compassion, care, laughter, everything to make us feel happy and safe. We never lose our dignity, the staff nurses, carers, domestics are wonderful with dietary. My only concern is that 5-star specialised general nursing is not available. Thank you all very much, to me it is a happy home.

My grandmother went to live at Bentley last year, I visited the home at Christmas and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome by the manager or staff. Grandma is really well looked after and seems happy at the home. I've never been in a care home before and was really surprised by how nice it was and how caring the staff seemed. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and everyone works so hard.

My mother moved into the MHU at Rosedale Manor Care Home in December 2015. She finds the carers pleasant and helpful. The physical spaces, in her unit, her room, the corridors, dining room and conservatory she finds light and airy. There are activities available in the home but the main she prefers to go out. She has a friend in the home and the friendship is encouraged by the staff I, together with my mother's son and grandchildren have always found the care staff friendly, more than willing to chat about how mother is getting on and to keep us well informed. We are pleased.

I have found mum's specialist unit very good. The staff are all very caring they give one hundred percent care to my mother are all very patient with her condition. She is always clean and tidy her room and personal belongings are looked after very well. Any information regarding my mother they are always on the ball letting the family know of any problems, of any doctors appointments or visit from the mental health team are due. If they find anything wrong on my mum's person they are straight on the phone to let me know or the family. Very well run, admin staff also very informative.
