Sadly our Mother died at Willowbrooke this January. The care she received was extraordinarily good; it really was home. One of the best decision we ever made; was placing Mum at Willowbrooke.

My aunt spent almost 4 years in the care of the excellent staff at Willowbrooke. She was partially blind, but she could walk to the bathroom with a little help and she was encouraged to walk. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The carers, cooks and cleaners, they all treated her with kindness and dignity, she considered herself to be a very lucky lady. The staff at Willowbrook gave my aunt far more than what money can buy, she felt loved and like one of a family. I could not recommend the care home more highly than I do, a wonderful caring residential home and I cannot thank all of them enough.

Our lovely mum recently passed away at Willowbrooke Care home. During the 11 months that she was a resident, she received amazing love and care from all the staff. We cannot praise Willowbrooke enough for their dedication, care, respect, hard work, but most of all love. They all treated our mum as if she was their own and cared for us as a family with such compassion from the moment she arrived, to her passing, funeral and afterwards. We will be always grateful that we found Willowbrooke, as it made the last year of our mum's life more bearable. Thank you.

My mum has received excellent care at Willowbrooke. When she moved in, she soon settled and was made to feel welcome and safe by the staff. On visiting, I have always found the rooms to be in excellent condition, clean and tidy. Mum has enjoyed all her meals and the entertainment and activities provided. Both my mum and our family have always found the staff to be professional yet friendly, putting Mums happiness and welfare first. Compared to other care homes we have seen, Willowbrooke offers so much more and we were able to feel confident that Mum was in the best place possible for her needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Willowbrooke Care Home for either long term or short term care.

A lovely welcoming Care Home. Staff cannot be faulted on the treatment of the residents. Plenty of activities if the residents want to join in or can just sit quietly in the lounge.

We found the staff to be caring, friendly and professional. They went out of their way to meet Mum's needs and were very pro-active at adapting to this.
Mum enjoyed her stay and the food was good. This level of care and attention to detail has been something we have struggled to find in other care homes for respite care.
On collecting Mum, she had maintained her strength and was clean and well.

We would definitely use and recommend again.

Friendly, welcoming home with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and professional. Excellent amenities and activities provided and residents are encouraged to participate as much as they wish to. My Uncle told me on several occasions how happy he was living at Willowbrooke.

Our cousin lived at Willowbrooke for two and a half years and was very happy and settled there.

During the last few days of her life - she was nursed by the staff with a huge amount of love, skill and dedication. They went above and beyond their call of duty and it was humbling to witness.

We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the manager and her superb team for taking such good care of not only our relative but also the family too - always a hot drink on offer and food if needed - we felt loved and cared for too.

What a wonderful team.

My mum lived in Willowbrooke from December 2015 to December 2017. She was very happy living there. Everything is really good at Willowbrooke, the staff, ambience, cleanliness, facilities food and activities. I think the size and situation is perfect, very homely and beautifully decorated. Sadly my mum died in December 2017 but the care and respect she and us received as a family was excellent. We virtually lived at the home the last week of her life and were given meals, a room and allowed showers. She was 93 years old and died peacefully. I was with her.

My mum came to Willowbrooke for three years respite. I couldn't have wished for a better place. The staff were so kind and friendly and I knew instantly my mum was going to be really well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. The home is exceptionally clean and the food was wonderful. Everyone made me and my family welcome when visiting.

After reading about Willowbrooke on the CQC website, I would not have entertained it but as I was passing, decided to go in and have a look. As a family, we were greeted very warmly but the management and staff found them all very friendly and helpful. Speaking to the residents, it was made clear to me that there were looked after like a member of their own family. The room are not large but have plenty of room for all you need. As for the food and rest of the facilities and care I cannot fault the home.

Mum is very happy there and we are so glad we went to have a look as it proves you cannot go by website alone.

My Gran has been at Willowbrooke for 5 months now and my initial reservations of her going in a home have certainly not been met. What a lovely place. The staff are fantastic, welcoming and caring and have only had excellent dealings with management. I visit often at varying times of the day and always felt welcome, it's like home. They have an events lady so the residents get involved in craft activities and when the weather allows a bit of outdoor planting. My gran has had days out and enjoys the fun days that are held every few months especially the Elvis impersonator. There is a chef so always lovely home cooked food none of the paste sandwiches that some care homes provide, have even enjoyed a lovely homemade cake myself. My gran's rooms is lovely and always well kept and very clean. The home always feels safe and secure which I feel is paramount and the level of care and dignity received is exceptional. Hopefully, my Gran will be at Willowbrooke for a long time so I can carry on visiting.

My mother moved into the care home in June after having several falls in her own home. She was happy there from the very first day. All the staff have been excellent ensuring that her needs have been met at all times. She has mascular degeneration and hearing impairments so needed more help than maybe some of the other residents. She enjoyed the company and all the activities, even though she was 102 she was always encouraged to join in. Food played a big part of her life although her appetite was small and even when she was on end of life care she chef ensured her nutritional needs were met.

My wife was admitted to be looked after because I couldn't. She is 86 years of age and cannot walk without a frame the management and staff are all very good (excellent) and attend to all her needs. The home is excellent and my wife of 60 years married is very well looked after. Her room is excellent and she wants for nothing. Staff and management cannot be praised enough.

My mother is a resident at Willowbrook. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and well kept/run. It's more like a little boutique hotel than a care home. I am happy that my mum is well cared for and safe.

Mum has been at Willowbrooke for 8 weeks having moved from another care home. The change in Mum is remarkable. Her legs which were very swollen are very much better, and having been discharged from hospital in a wheelchair she is now managing to walk short distances with her zimmer. She socialises with other residents and has settled in very well. This is due entirely to the friendly, welcoming and caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is beautifully decorated, has a warm, friendly atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Willowbrooke. I live abroad so can't visit Mum on a weekly basis and it is very reassuring to know that she is being so well looked after.
