What can I say, except a very, very big thank you to the manager and staff for the most welcoming and professional service given to us on the day my father-in-law moved into Jasmine Court. We asked at the last minute if we could have something to eat with him, and this was no problem. The chef was brilliant
- asked if we had allergies etc, and the food was hot and fresh - well done. After 30 years of being in sheltered housing, 12 of these years alone, I found that only one day of being in care far outweighed the 12 years with regard to the time and effort given by the staff at Jasmine Court. Thank you so very much.
Reply from Rahi Joshi, Marketing Associate at Jasmine Court ResidentialThank you so much for your heartfelt review! We are grateful for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am sure the team at Jasmine Court would be happy to receive such kind words.

My wife is quite happy in Jasmine Court Residential until I take her out for the day then she says "I don't want to go back there". Very clingy when I drop her off and I have to be devious to escape.
Reply from Rahi Joshi, Headoffice at Jasmine Court ResidentialDear Thomas,
We understand having your loved one away from you can be an unsettling feeling for both. Our team at Jasmine Court maintains a high-quality care standard for all our residents and supports them to settle in and be comfortable with us, we hope your wife will feel more comfortable at Jasmine too with her tailored care plan and indulging in daily activities.

Our friend, who has no living family left in this country, has been at Jasmine Court for over seven years, during which time we have seen the care home develop into a truly caring community under excellent management. Despite several hospitalisations during the pandemic and also more recently, he recovered
well each time, receiving the care he needed. It is comforting to know that he is living in a healthy, safe environment, with kind staff who provide plenty of good food and are doing their best to be a family to him and fellow residents.

Very good meals, well served.
My room and bathroom are always tidy. Outdoor activities are well organised.
It is impossible to nominate any single carer; they all deserve a gold star.

I visited my friend often at Jasmine Court. It is a pleasant place to visit. I was very impressed by the care, kindness and great amount of patience given to him by all the staff and management, despite his very challenging behaviour. He has recently moved to a nursing home because of his additional
care needs.

Dad spent twelve weeks in Jasmine Court before he passed away peacefully. We could not have any higher praise for the care Dad received in his last couple of weeks. The support given to his family was appreciated, and the peaceful and loving environment created in his room the last few days could not
have been replicated elsewhere. This gave us time to spend with Daf in comfort, and our memories of this time, although difficult, will be cherished.
Reply from Jeanette Fairclough, Home Manager at Jasmine Court ResidentialThank you for your very kind words. I am so pleased we were able to provide comfort and support to all your family and your Dad during this very difficult time. I will make sure all the staff receive a copy of this review.

Jasmin Court is a lovely carehome, very bright and inviting. The management team and other staff are super friendly and very caring. My father-in-law is settling in very very well, and it is so reassuring he is getting good care and lovely food and is well on the way to making some new friends.

Dad was admitted from a previous 'emergency assessment bed' and shown to require full 24-hour residential care. I visited prior to induction and was very pleased with the whole experience, the layout of the rooms and the atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble, and questions/queries were dealt with
quickly. The management team/staff show a huge passion for what they do in what can be a very 'challenging environment'. Dad was positively depressed in his assessment home and now smiles and feels extremely content and relaxed in Jasmine Court.
Constantly fussed over by the staff - he says he is in a hotel! I would, without a doubt, highly recommend Jasmine Court. The building is light and airy, tidy and welcoming. Activities are varied and all backed up by scratch-made home-cooked food. Altogether, a very pleasant experience and not just for the residents either!

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.547)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.547) out of 10 for Jasmine Court Residential is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 15 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.672 for Jasmine Court Residential is calculated as follows: ( (121 Excellents x 5) + (54 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 177 Ratings = 4.672
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.875 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Jasmine Court Residential is based on 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.875
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 66 registered maximum number of service users is 13.2, which has been reached with 15 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
