Croftwood

I have found all the staff to be approachable, should I need to, they all speak to family as if they know us, which is great. They rang me couple weeks ago as my dad had a small medical problem, they got the district nurse in straight away to sort it, which she did. They regularly ring me for updates of all that goes on with dad, we are included with dad's care every step of the way. Dad is very happy with his care and food, he doesn't want anything to change,

Mum has been looked after by the staff at Croftwood for over 6 years. During this time they have done a great job of caring for her. As a family we are very grateful. Thank you.

Recently another family member has joined the home. We know they will also be very well cared for.

My mother Nancy was admitted to Croftwood Care Home in mid-April 2026, after being in another care facility and several hospital stays. The previous care home was not fit for purpose and caused significant distress to my mother. Croftwood was a totally different experience for my mother and for all the family who attended regularly. The care home was well managed and the team of staff were excellent in dealing with my mothers health issues and needs. The room and facilities were excellent. Also the staff were very helpful to the family particularly when mother had to go onto end of life care due to her frailty. We could visit at any time and were allowed to stay overnight towards the end. Mother passed away on 15th July 2026 with dignity. The love and care shown to my mother and to all the family was second to none and much appreciated. We were made to fell at home like part of one big family. We would highly recommend this care home and may the excellent care standards continue.

Mum moved into Croftwood back in March this year. She has dementia.

Our situation was very difficult, as Mum had brought up my nephew from being a little boy, and he has autism and learning needs. So separating them was such a hard decision. I found it very difficult and felt nothing but guilt. She also really struggled being apart from him, and some days it broke my heart.

But the staff are so kind, caring and professional. They put us all at ease. They welcome my nephew every day during visits, and I have to say their nurturing is outstanding. The staff treat Mum like she's their own Mum - it's so wonderful to witness.

Five months on, Mum is so settled, as is my nephew. We now enjoy visits to Mum and take her for days out, as well as join in with the regular activities and planned family days they host at the home.

The most wonderful moment for me is hearing Mum call Croftwood her home.

Thanks to all the amazing staff. I feel they are part of our family.

My mum is well looked after, content & settled. The care workers at Croftwood are kind, helpful & dedicated. I know I can approach them at any time to discuss any problems mum has. The events organiser is amazing, she will go out of her way to help to organise birthday parties for mum & she's great at arranging events & trips. I feel that mum is respected & treated with dignity by the brilliant care staff at Croftwood.

My mother-in-law is well looked after by staff who are caring and attentive.

My nan has lived here for over 6 years and has always been really well cared for. Staff treat her and other residents with love and care and respect. She enjoys her meals here. Her room is always immaculately tidy and clean. She is safe here doors are always locked securely, mats are used to alert staff of movement & falls.

My mum has been in Croftwood for over 6 years now and we have been extremely happy with the care she receives. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They are like mums extended family and treat her like their own. The home is very clean and the food is always very good quality and a good variety. They keep us regularly updated on mums health and welfare and get in touch as soon as there is a problem.

Mum had a big birthday this month, the staff all made her feel very special, myself and the family who came to visit were all made welcome and could see how well looked after mum was.

mum only been here since wednesday but seems to be settling in well. All the staff i have met have been very friendly and helpful from Cheryl the manager and her deputy Sharon and admin Carol to the carers and all other members who i have briefly met but got no name yet and i would imagine those i am yet to meet

Always a pleasure to visit mum at Croftwood. The whole team are amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. Best decision I made almost two years ago now when I had to make a very sad decision but it was definitely the right place for my mum.

My mother has been in Croftwood care home for nearly 3 years. I can not fault the care home or the staff, they have lots going on, a good range of food and my mum feels very at home there. Nothing is to much trouble and they do go above and beyond. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a safe caring setting.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team at Croftwood. We visited numerous facilities prior to choosing Croftwood and nothing could beat it. The instant warmth we felt from everyone was unmatched. Keep doing great things as you truly do make a difference.

The thing with Croftwood that stands apart from most is it feels like a home, some care homes are clinical no comfort or character it almost seems like a business.. Croftwood couldn't be further from that, and the reason we chose it for my grandma. She is treated with care and empathy and like part of their own family which is something we appreciate the most. The time and dedication the people working at Croftwood provide is truly admirable never far from a smiley face or a caring hand to help those that need it. After viewing many care homes to find a suitable 1 for my grandma Croftwood came out on top for many reasons and I'm so glad my grandma gets to be cared for in such an empathetic caring and safe environment.
