My journey with Glenroyd began as an agency nurse, and I quickly became attached to the home’s warm, family-like atmosphere. After consistently returning for over a year, I officially joined as Deputy Manager in June 2023 and was thrilled to be promoted to General Manager in November 2024. Previously, I worked as a Ward Sister at Southport Hospital, working on an acute frail elderly ward, an acute medical short-stay unit, and specialising in diabetes care. Caring for the elderly is my passion, and I am privileged to build meaningful relationships with our residents and their families.
As part of the management team, my priorities include ensuring the safety of our residents, providing person-centred care, and enabling them to lead fully enriched lives. We are committed to delivering the highest quality of care, ensuring that each resident feels at home and their families have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in caring and professional hands.

My name is Sally and I am the Home Administrator at Glenroyd. It is my role to support the General Manager by maintaining the administration, HR and financial systems within the home. I developed a strong relationship with many of our residents and their families. This has helped me to create a tailored activities program focused on maximizing everyone’s well-being, independence, and social engagement.
It is my goal to create a stimulating environment that enables me to provide imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. My infectious enthusiasm and creative approach are the key to inspiring our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community.
