A nice reception by the staff when we visited. A good comfortable home. All the staff seem very caring and considerate and interact very well indeed.
The individual room for my sister was very nice and staff had hung pictures as requested.
Drinks and snacks are served regularly at allotted times and
my experience of the food when we ate lunch with my sister was very good indeed.
My overall impression was of a comfortable, happy atmosphere - also very clean with no odour!

There's a wonderful sense of genuine caring for each individual resident.
The atmosphere is homely with comfortable seating.
Visitors are welcomed and a bonus is to be included at meal times and coffee breaks.
This is a valuable inclusion to help the resident feel settled and accepting of the situation.
Staff
are very pleasant, helpful and understanding.
My criticism is that the TV sound is perhaps too loud and constant but I realise there may be just reasons for this.

I think the staff are friendly and value the positive aspects of my grandma's personality. Staff seem to have connected with my grandma's mischievous side and it is nice to be reminded of that side of her. She seems happy here - even though she (inaccurately) tells me that she never leaves her room.

My mother was made most welcome when she came to the home. She has joined in lots of activities. Due to her dementia, I am unable to obtain my mother's opinions but my impressions are that every member of staff I have met has excellent empathy with the residents and are alert to their needs.
The home
appears to be well staffed and an active programme of renovation and improvement reflects a committed and effective management.

My brother has only been a resident for a short time so these are the points I have experienced.
His welcome and introduction gave him a pleasurable view of his new home which gave confidence and reassurance.
Staff have always responded to his needs.
His room has been made personal and inviting.

It was my mothers 100th birthday party at the home for my mother's family. The entertainment co-ordinator and the chef went out of their way to be helpful as were other members of staff. The whole event went fantastically well because of this help. As a result, my mother and the family had a great time
throughout, enjoyed by all. Thank you very much.
