Dad has stayed twice at Prior Bank for respite care, between 2-6 weeks each time. He has stayed in two other homes in Sheffield and this is by far the one he most prefers. The staff genuinely seem to want the best for the residents. They all seem to have a friendly, helpful, cheery disposition, in what
must be a difficult workplace. Dad loves the food, and appreciates the effort people have gone to, to try and learn how to make a camp coffee! Dad will definitely be back. Thank you.

May has been here for only a brief while, the improvement has been tremendous, from being quite timid and accepting she is now voicing an opinion and making her needs known. Mum moved in during April and everyone has really helped her settle, moving to Sheffield to be closer to family. They have helped personalise her room and nothing is too much trouble. Mum says everyone is so kind.

My mum settled into this care home straight away; she is always happy, well cared for and full of praise for the care she receives. Mum has moved here recently and there was a covid outbreak immediately she moved in. So it has not been easy to get a feel for Prior Bank. The staff are very welcoming when I visit and the manager made the assessment for Prior Bank very easy and straightforward. Mum's room is lovely and always clean.
Great to be able to bring my dog to visit mum.

A very caring friendly environment. My mum has lived here for two years and she has always been treated with respect and I feel the staff care deeply for her.
The last year has been a difficult time but I think the home have done their best to facilitate visits and quickly implement any changes in
guidance.
Although my mum has Alzheimer’s I know she feels safe and well cared for.

All the staff at Prior Bank were extremely kind to my mother and to myself throughout the three months she lived there. This was especially apparent when my mum was at the end of her life. I felt, and I believed she did too, that we had an extended family who helped me to care for her. She died very
peacefully, holding my hand on October 23rd 2021.
