The staff at Prior Bank are all wonderful, the care home feels like a family. The home is lovely, the bedrooms in particular are finished to a very high standard and very pleasant to spend time in. Staff call weekly to update us on doctor visits. My grandmother has been in many care homes and this is
by far the happiest, and very well looked after. We also find in comparison to previous homes, Prior Bank is very good value for money. Couldn't recommend Prior Bank more.

My experience at Prior Bank is a very positive one. The staff are friendly and always helpful. They are caring with the residents and display dignity at all times. The home is welcoming and has an inviting ambience, always clean. Plenty of staff at hand. Would certainly recommend it.

My mother has been a resident of Prior Bank for over 18 months. The care she has received during that time has been excellent. The staff always treat Mum with respect and dignity as they do with all residents. I am impressed with the activities available. It's a busy environment for all the staff but
it doesn't appear that any residents receive less compassion because of this. The staff, team leaders and management are extremely approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Any requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

My mum was only in Prior Bank for a short time before she was moved to a nursing home. The short stay was a very happy and comfortable time for her. The care she received was amazing, all the staff are so friendly, kind, and caring, they treat all the residents like they are family.
I would recommend

Mum has been at Prior Bank for 2 years. She always hated the idea of going into a care home so it was very upsetting for her. She has been difficult at times, especially in relation to personal care but the staff have always been patient and respectful with her. She has settled now and more accepting
of help. The staff are always kind and compassionate, treating everyone as an individual rather than just someone with dementia. Mum has put on weight and has ready access to medical care if necessary. I know mum is safe and well cared for which gives me peace of mind.

My mum came to Prior Bank in June 2023 and has settled well and feels comfortable with the staff, who have helped her to adjust to the change and have reassured her through her worries and uncertainties.
The home is always welcoming a lively friendly atmosphere and I have noticed the positive interactions

My mum has always refused to go into respite, I think because of the stories she reads. However, my brother and I looked around a few care homes and were recommended Prior Bank. We were able to turn up unannounced and were given a tour by a member of staff. We were impressed and able to persuade Mum
to give it a try. She really appreciated the care given to her and loved chatting with all the staff. She was able to see how caring the staff were with all the residents. In fact, she extended her respite and would not hesitate to go there again.

Dad has been a resident of Prior Bank for a couple of years now and his care has been very good. Whenever I visit he is happy and in the lounge area watching TV or taking part in an activity. I have only been able to visit occasionally recently but I know Mum has been very well cared for. I have spoken to the new deputy manager about improving the tracking of Mum's clothes and plans are in place for laundry. It has been great to see Mum on social media and welcome the new newsletter. It has been one of the hardest decisions to move Mum from home to care but Prior Bank is definitely the right choice. A warm and comfortable environment with regularly planned activities was always important, but what makes Priors Bank really special is the individual care and kindness my mother receives
on a daily basis. To the staff at Priors Bank it is obvious their work is not just a job but a vocation. The manager has a clear vision and the whole team responds quickly to any questions I may have. They treat my mother like any of the family. What more could I ask?

My mum has lived at Prior Bank for almost four years and I have been completely satisfied with all aspects of her care. All the staff are so friendly and caring and it's clear they put an enormous effort into giving all the residents the best quality of life possible. Dementia is a very difficult illness
to witness, but it has been made so much easier by the love and care of all the staff at Prior Bank.

Dad has stayed twice at Prior Bank for respite care, between 2-6 weeks each time. He has stayed in two other homes in Sheffield and this is by far the one he most prefers. The staff genuinely seem to want the best for the residents. They all seem to have a friendly, helpful, cheery disposition, in what
must be a difficult workplace. Dad loves the food, and appreciates the effort people have gone to, to try and learn how to make a camp coffee! Dad will definitely be back. Thank you.
