Mum took up residency at Prior Bank at the beginning of July. The management team were super helpful and efficient throughout the transfer process. All of the staff that I have dealt with have been lovely. The building is very homely and clean.

My wife entered Prior Bank in July 2021due to her alzeimers Dementia worsening.I and indeed my family did not expect her to last more than a few months,It is entirely due to the dedicated care and love she is receiving from all staff . She is not only still a resident but in better health , natural
effects of her condition allowing,than when she became a resident 4yrs ago.

The staff at Prior Bank are brilliant! They are kind, caring, hard-working and committed to treating the residents with compassion and dignity. The food looks tasty and meal times are a real social highlight for the residents. Staff make an effort to celebrate special days at every opportunity.
A highlight for us was the pastor (who is also a shift leader). He led church services every week, and was amazing when my mother-in -law passed away - he led the funeral (which was lovely because he knew her well) and was a great comfort to us all.

My Mum moved to Prior Bank in June 2023. Whilst her dementia has deteriorated since then, the staff have shown continued care and compassion. We are updated as and when necessary and can call at anytime for a chat with the home manager.


Their hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed and we

appreciate all they do to keep Mum safe and well looked after.

Really can't say how good Prior Bank is. The kind and caring staff and management at PB have really helped mum settle in so quickly, and helped us feel we made the right decision when the time came and mum couldn't live on her own anymore. She has only been there since February and she has made some
new friends and gets on really well with the staff. Plenty of varied activities for residents. Mum joins in with the activities regularly. Good to have a quiet lounge for when residents need a break from the every day hustle & bustle. Also nice for visitors to sit and chat quietly. As for PB itself the staff are amazing, the cleanliness levels are excellent, rooms are well kept. Cannot praise the staff enough. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending PB to anybody.

My mother has been at Priot Bank for over 18 months now. She is very happy. I feel really blessed that she is at Prior Bank. It gives me a peace of mind when I am not with my mum.

My aunt went into Prior Bank full time on the 3rd April, all the staff made her very welcome and eased her transition into care.

Mum has been at Prior Bank for four years now. She is well cared for, always well turned out and well fed. She says that the food is great. The staff are kind and encouraging and respond to needs. Staff and management are responsive to concerns. There are plenty of activities, including church

All the staff at Prior Bank care home are always helpful and friendly. I feel I can approach them and talk to them about anything that may be concerning me. Similarly, they will get in touch if there is anything they need to talk to me about. They were especially helpful on my mum's 90th birthday last
November, providing sandwiches and drinks in the quiet room.

We were very anxious about my mother coming to Prior Bank as she had always said that she didn't want to go into a care home. However, as her Alzheimer's progressed, it proved impossible to care for her safely at home. We live in the next street to her old house & visited her every day, and we had carers
coming in every lunchtime, but even with that level of support it was becoming unsafe once my mother started wandering out of the house at odd times.
So we were nervous about her coming to Prior Bank and feared that she would hate it. In fact she has settled in really well, and the staff are clearly fond of her. She clearly enjoys having people around all the time, and - to our great surprise - she has even taken to joining in with communal activities of the sort that she would have probably turned her nose up at a couple of years ago (bingo, singing along with crooning songs etc).
So very happy indeed, and it is a great relief that the staff are now responsible for her care.

All the staff are excellent and most helpful to my mum. The home do lots of activities for the residents and keep them entertained. The overall care is first class and the home facilities are marvellous. When I go to visit my mum I usually have a meal with her and can confirm the food is excellent.

The staff provide excellent care and are quick to respond to any requirements needed by the residents.
Care workers are well presented, polite, considerate and welcoming. My mother's room is very clean and tidy .

I'm really pleased how quickly my mum has settled in she seems more relaxed, clean, warm and well-fed. The thing for me is I know she's very safe and I really enjoy watching her on social media when she's being entertained with all the different entertainers that go into the home. When she first went
in, she wasn't eating a lot but now she's eating well. All the staff are very friendly and interact with all the residents and all the families that come to visit. Love from the family!

As my mother has early-onset dementia and my father has recently been diagnosed with cancer, living at home has become untenable. As a family, we needed them to be somewhere where we knew that they would be safe and cared for. Prior Bank has become that place. It's close to their home and close to us,
as a family, to visit easily.
Although it's fair to say, that my mother has found it harder to settle and to accept the situation, the staff have done everything they can to try to help both of them. They have been very accommodating, and only want what's best for them both. We are very happy with the home and hope that both Mum and Dad will both realise that they are in the best place for them.

My mum has been in Prior Bank for over 2 years now & continues to have lots of happy days. The staff are amazing & nothing is too much trouble. The level of kindness shown knows no abounds & I am so grateful to them for all the little touches that make a difference. Mum thinks & refers to the carers
as her friends which is lovely. I'm so relieved that Mum is safe, happy & comfortable.
