Review from Beverley W (Friend of Resident) published on 4 April 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

The residents in the care home are always very clean as are their clothes. The carers treat them with such dignity and kindness it is lovely to see. You can visit at any time and you are greeted with a smile.and always offered a drink. There is a carer in each lounge area making sure all residents are ok and needs attended too. When my friend first went into this home the Management asked all about them so they knew who they had been before the Dementia took hold and what their interests and hobbies had been. You always feel that the carers do actually care about each individual in the home.

Overall Experience
My sister in law has been at Westfield Manor for a few years. My brother had looked around for some time at several suggested care homes in the area & decided this was the best place for his wife.
The staff are very kind and caring.
They all seem very happy to be working there and always greet visitors with a cheery, warm welcome.

My brother knows they take the very best care of his wife & is pleased that he chose this nursing home.

Excellent service all round.
Staff are very attentive and make sure all the residents are well looked after. There are always plenty of staff on duty and nothing is too much trouble for them to deal with.
My wife, who has dementia, has been at Westfield for over a year now and I am always kept up to date with any issues she has. She has had to go into hospital a number of times and the staff have always gone with her and stayed with her until she was fully settled in a ward.

I am very pleased I chose Westfield for my wife and I know she is very content and safe.

Review from Karen W (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 August 2024 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Mum was a resident at Westfield Manor from February 2023 till her passing in May 2024. She had complex needs having multiple sclerosis, dementia, colostomy and immobility. Her care needs were met with care and dignity. As two of us are nurses, the staff were open to our suggestions regarding the stoma. They arranged training for the staff. End-of-life care was excellent and cared for us as a family.

Overall Experience

I cannot express enough my appreciation for the care and support my mum receives at Westfield Manor. In the past when Mum had health problems, I've always been updated with her progress after the home involved health professionals such as GP and taken the appropriate action to get her and keep her in good health. The staff are extremely caring and patient. The home has a safe, friendly and secure atmosphere. I've always felt Mum is safe and secure. The management team is exceptional and inspiring, showing empathy and understanding, especially with dementia residents like my mum.

Overall Experience

My 84 year old mum was lucky enough to find a place here at Westfield Manor. The management and all the care staff and all the employees there are worth their weight in gold. They are a wonderful, caring team and cannot fault them in any way. The home is run like clockwork and exceptionally clean. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The manager put the home in lockdown before it was advised to do so, which I am very grateful for as all the residents and the staff are virus-free. I would highly recommend Westfield Manor to anyone who is looking for a lovely caring home for their loved one!
