Mum has been in Primrose Court for some years now. I'm always impressed with the amount of activities that are provided and events that are organised - something for everyone. She is well looked after, well fed, and has formed good friendships with the carers. I live a long way away and cannot visit as often as I would like so it's a huge comfort to me that she is being well looked after as she becomes more frail.

My mum has been a resident at Primrose Court since 2017 and I cannot praise the standard of care she has been given highly enough. The staff have always shown her the greatest respect and have dealt with her ongoing care needs with dignity as she grows increasingly frail. Her need for privacy is always respected which is so important to her. She is happy and content and enjoys being part of the community. There is always a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the home and a programme of activities and entertainment ensures that residents are occupied, stimulated and engaged as much as possible. Mum has especially enjoyed and responded well to visits from a variety of animals such as a therapy dog, alpacas, a donkey and even some owls! She also enjoys baking and other creative projects. The standard of food and presentation and variety of meals has always been excellent and residents have frequent opportunities to try new dishes. I highly recommend this home.

Since moving into Primrose Court in May, mum has experienced a significant improvement in her quality of life and well-being. This is entirely down to the excellent staff who provide exceptional care for the residents.

In April my wife, who suffers from dementia, needed respite care whilst I had an operation. With help and advice from Leeds Adult Social Care my daughters searched for a suitable care home. We were very fortunate that a room became available at Primrose Court. Upon visiting my daughters were impressed by the happy ethos and lay-out of the home. The room offered was very clean, light, airy and decorated to a high standard. A lift makes it easy to access rooms on upper floors. My daughters decided, on my behalf, that they needed to look no further.
My wife has settled in well, and takes part in organized activities. She enjoys the meals, cakes - all made in-house. Doctors, chiropodists and hairdressers visit regularly.

The staff are like family; very friendly and welcoming. They know I am finding the separation very difficult to accept after 63 years of marriage and assure me that my welfare is also their concern. It’s helped me accept that I’m no longer able to be her 24/7 carer.

I am confident my Mum is being well cared for. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. My only reservation is that the communal area is more institutional and less "homey" than I would like it to be, but I recognise that may be unavoidable in this kind of situation.

I am very impressed with the level of service offered throughout the covid era, that must have been very trying for all concerned. I would definitely recommend Primrose Court.

Mum has been at Primrose Court for 18 months and is very happy and well cared for. The staff are very kind and caring, and they always contact me to advise of any concerns regarding Mum, and keep me well informed of any action required. The home is lovely and very comfortable, and the staff are always welcoming to visitors. Mum always tells me how well she is looked after, and that the food is lovely. I would highly recommend Primrose Court.

The care given is exemplary. Every member of staff involved with Mum's care was kind, understanding and professional. We could not have asked for any better care and the staff were very willing to go the extra mile to ensure that Mum was looked after in the best way possible. Their understanding of the relatives' feelings at what can be a difficult time was really appreciated. I cannot praise the all round care too highly.

My mother has been at this home for three and a half years and has been very happy here. Sadly, she has no longer knows who I am now, but her face lights up with a huge smile when a carer enters her room. This cheers me up, knowing she loves to see the carers, and I feel so happy for her. It doesn't matter that she no longer recognises her family - but to see mum happy does matter. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for going the extra mile through Covid - you were all brilliant.

We placed my Mum in Primrose Court when her dementia started to demand 24-hour supervision. We had looked after Mum for the previous 10 years so were concerned as to how she would settle. The staff at Primrose Court has welcomed her admirably. She has settled well and is as happy as we could reasonably expect for a woman with full dementia. So thankful that when we could no longer give the level of care my Mum needs, Primrose was and is there.

The staff are lovely with mum (and me) and so helpful. I get to see and spend lots of time with her. They have also taken great care of her health and assessing changing needs. Mum loves the food and has gained weight and enjoys the activities and having lots of people to talk to. I have complete confidence in the staff to take good care of mum and that has lifted such a weight of stress from my shoulders, thank you!

My Mum has been in the home for the last month and has really settled down after the initial period which she found difficult when she had to self isolate. The staff have been fantastic and made her feel very safe and she is being well looked after. Very happy we chose this home.

Primrose Court cares for my Father in an excellent way. He is content and happy. He enjoys the meals and comments positively about them. He participates in activities and is especially keen on the quizzes, particularly between the homes. It has been a difficult year with the Covid-19 pandemic. I think the staff have done well to protect my Father from this. It is good to be able to visit him face to face and I look forward to taking him out.

Very caring staff. Couldn’t wish for better attention on all levels. The only fault our relative finds is that the food is insufficient at times and rather repetitive. She has a good appetite and eats well.
