Recommend this care home to everyone. The staff in all areas are amazing. Caring dedicated and approachable. Really pleased with mums care, always presented well, clean and well cared for. Definitely highly recommended 100%

Everything is lovely but we are in lockdown and I don't see beyond the home's pod, which is amazing and I know not all homes have this. So this is what I know, so far - my friend is happy.

My Mum has been a resident for several years now. She has dementia and is seriously disabled. Since she arrived she has been treated with kindness and respect by the staff. Her room is kept clean and tidy and the staff are patient and caring, never off-hand or dismissive, neither are they patronising
to these elderly and vulnerable people. The attitude springs from the top and shows in all aspects. The cleaners, cooks, and carers are all positive and friendly, they don’t last long there if they aren’t. Management respond positively and decisively if things are not right. I have no hesitation in recommending Victoria House for those wishing to find a caring residential home for their vulnerable loved ones.

I have been very pleased with the care given to my mother who has vascular dementia and has severe arthritis. The staff have been consistently helpful and friendly. Any special requests have been implemented quickly. Medical care has always been provided promptly when requested and I have been kept
informed of any issues that may have arisen. Overall very happy.

Victoria House has been dads home for 2 years. When he arrived from hospital we honestly didn't think he would recover from his illness. Wow! You should see him now. Full of smiles, 1 stone heavier.
Dad and I have had to overcome some negative issues due to his illness. A learning curve for us both.
I
can honestly say without the support and care from all the staff especially the owner, manager, and senior staff we wouldn't have been able to make the family memories we have.
Dad continues to enjoy his life, he's is happy with all the support he receives. He also feels the food is very good and is well fed.
The cleanliness around the home is good too. Laundry is not as quick as he would like but they do their best to accommodate his needs.
As a daughter, I appreciate how well I am included in some of the decision-making with dads care and also will be forever grateful for going the extra mile by allowing and providing a decorated room to celebrate birthdays and Xmas for us all.
