Staff are all very caring, experienced and sympathetic to residents needs. They are efficient and the home us well run with entertainment days and craft/art session for those who want to join in. Catering is good and visitors are welcomed.

After a very short time, my Aunt settled into Victoria House. She loved the company, her Carers and the food. Nothing was too much for her Carers, they respected her and made her feel safe. After a very short time, my Aunt settled into Victoria House. She loved the company, her Carers and the food. Nothing was too much for her Carers, they respected her and made her feel safe. She soon became part of the family and took part in all the activities she was able to, crafting, dominoes, singing etc., which her Carers gently encouraged her to try. She loved her bedroom with its en-suite, though didn't spend all her time there as she liked to be in the lounge, to be with her new friends and her friendly Carers. It is a big decision to hand over a vulnerable loved one to strangers, but they were not strangers for long and quickly confirmed that we had made the right decision to choose Victoria House. But the care did not stop there, visiting family members were made to feel welcome and supported. They valued our input into the care package that was right for my Aunt. The family will always be grateful for the loving, caring experience my Aunt had during her stay there.
