Very friendly environment, nice spacious rooms.
Good homecooked food.
Look after Grandma really well.
Loved the activity program.
She really enjoyed the singer and was singing along and smiling (not something we have seen much of)!

Mum has been a resident at Victoria House for the past three years. The staff are professional and caring for her individual needs.
Cleanliness of the bedrooms, lounges and dining rooms are excellent. Mum looks forward to the singers on Tuesday and sometimes Fridays. She also enjoys the hairdresser
cutting and shampooing her hair.
When I visit and see her smiling face, I know she has settled well here.
Thank you to all staff at Victoria House for your professionalism and your caring attitude.
I would highly recommend Victoria House for the well being of a family member.

Victoria House became home to my Aunt who vowed she would never move into a care home! Her health improved dramatically due to the wonderful care and good food. I never visited the home when a drink of some sort wasn’t available which is vital to wellbeing. My Aunt was always well dressed and clean.
The home itself is very clean, warm and welcoming. Staff have all been wonderful to Aunty and us as a family. We were very relieved that she was able to receive all the care she needed within the home right until the end of her life. All her needs and ours were met by the very caring staff during this very hard time. We were privileged to be able to be with her to the end.
The experience we have had at Victoria House prompts me to say that I would have absolutely no qualms in recommending it to other members of my family should residential care ever be needed.
Thank you all for the love and care you gave my Aunt.

After a very short time, my Aunt settled into Victoria House. She loved the company, her Carers and the food. Nothing was too much for her Carers, they respected her and made her feel safe. She soon became part of the family and took part in all the activities she was able to, crafting, dominoes,
singing etc., which her Carers gently encouraged her to try. She loved her bedroom with its en-suite, though didn't spend all her time there as she liked to be in the lounge, to be with her new friends and her friendly Carers. It is a big decision to hand over a vulnerable loved one to strangers, but they were not strangers for long and quickly confirmed that we had made the right decision to choose Victoria House. But the care did not stop there, visiting family members were made to feel welcome and supported. They valued our input into the care package that was right for my Aunt. The family will always be grateful for the loving, caring experience my Aunt had during her stay there.

The staff at Victoria House are always friendly and very helpful, always busy working and looking after the residents. Mum always looks clean and tidy and her room is kept spotlessly clean and tidy too. Mum loves the staff. She likes having a laugh and a joke with them.

My grandma has been in Victoria House for a couple of years now, the home is always clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Any problems are dealt with in a fast and professional way. My grandma enjoys taking part in any day trips and the daily activities that staff do and she also tells me
the food is lovely with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, I feel my grandma is very well looked after here and she is happy to be here.

The staff at Victoria House do an excellent job of caring for my mother, she can be awkward to deal with. She regularly refuses to go to bed on a night, insisting on sleeping in a chair in the lounge. The staff show great patience in dealing with her because this habit of sleeping in the chair causes
her neck to be painful and her bottom to be sore both of these areas are treated appropriately and her doctor is always called when necessary. Due to my mother's great age 100 and independent, awkward nature she occasionally falls. I am always notified and reassured that she is ok.
