My dad is very well cared for. The staff and management genuinely know the residents. I am always made welcome and communications regarding health, medication and general matters are informative and regular. I am very happy with Dad's care and would recommend The Limes to anyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that you feel welcomed and well-informed, and that your dad is happy and well cared for at The Limes. Our team truly values building close relationships with our residents and their families, and your recommendation means the world to us!
In the time my father has been at The Limes, I have never seen him look so well, clean and happy which is a testament to the staff at the home.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to know your father feels happy and well cared for at The Limes -it means the world to our team.
All staff have been friendly and get on well with my parents and the family. There have been several management changes and I think some stability going forward will be helpful. The facilities and personal rooms need decorating and this is beginning to happen. Most important is the care and culture of the home, and I cannot fault this, my parents are safe, treated with respect and valued as individuals. A massive thank you to all staff, it means so much to me that they are well cared for.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and kind words about The Limes. We're delighted to hear that your parents have received excellent care over the years and that our staff have been supportive and communicative. We appreciate your feedback about stability and decorating, and we're...
I am very happy with the care my Nanna is receiving from the staff and how they are on top of any health issues that arise. I am kept up to date with everything and the staff are always polite and friendly. My Nanna is very happy and feels safe/well looked after, she has a good variety of food provided which always smells delicious when I visit. The home is clean and well looked after. I would definitely recommend The Limes.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're so pleased to hear that your Nanna is happy and feels well looked after at The Limes. It's great to know that our staff are providing the care and attention she needs and that you feel informed and reassured. We're also glad to hear that you enjoy...
My dad was really happy at The Limes, all the staff were really friendly and professional at all times, the food was excellent. My dad went to Limes last October not expecting to live more than a couple of months but with their care and attention he has moved out and into semi-independent living again, I attribute this to all the staff and the lovely atmosphere of the home. I would recommend The Limes to anybody.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that your dad was happy at The Limes and that our team was able to make such a positive difference in his life. It's fantastic to know he is now in semi-independent living. We always strive to create a friendly and supportive...
I visit my mum every month and each time I visit I am reassured that she is being cared for. She looks well and happy and is known to staff I encounter who seem genuinely fond of her. The home is a little dated and the internal courtyards could do with a refresh, but the staff are warm and friendly which is the most important factor. We are always notified promptly if Mum has any issues.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you feel reassured about your mum's care at The Limes. Our team takes great pride in getting to know each resident personally and providing a warm, caring environment where they can thrive. Your feedback about...
Mum has received excellent care since being transferred from hospital in August 2023. She is safe and well cared for and the staff are always helpful and keep you informed of any issues/incidents.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are delighted to hear that your mum is receiving excellent care and that our staff have been helpful and communicative. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything.
The staff at The Limes are amazing! My mum was so reluctant to go into a care home but at nearly 100 years old it was the right time. Within a couple of weeks, she is so settled and happy. She always tells me how lovely all the staff are and how good the food is. We cannot thank them enough for the care they give to my mum. They helped to make her 100th birthday very special.
Thank you so much for your kind words about The Limes. We are delighted to hear that your mum has settled in so well and is happy with her new home. Our staff strives to provide the best care possible and it's wonderful to know their efforts have made such a positive impact on your mum's life....
The Limes is the best place on earth. I could not praise them enough. They care, look after and love my mother with 5-star care. My mother has been for many years and without them she would not be here today, I cannot praise them enough. All staff and seniors are caring, helpful and all very smart. The home is warm, very clean, and very safe, so happy she is there. My mum has been there since 2017, and have great respect for the senior carer.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and glowing review of The Limes Care Home. We are deeply touched by your praise and are delighted to hear that your mother has been so well cared for over the years. It's our mission to provide a loving, safe and supportive environment for all our...
The manager has the most wonderful approach, nothing is too much trouble and the care of Dad was always at the forefront. We had a thorough assessment of Dad's needs in his own home and could quickly get Dad the support he needed, initially, for respite care but eventually for his full-time care needs. Dad enjoyed his time and spoke fondly of the team that provided his care.
The manager's leadership skills should also be noted, she is a compassionate leader wanting to do the best for her residents and staff. If you have any staff awards I would highly recommend the manager be put forward for one.
We are pleased to know that the thorough assessment of your dad's needs in his own home facilitated a smooth transition to The...
I am not impressed by the regularity only with which I have to make my bed. I have painful arthritis between my shoulder blades which renders this normally simple and easy task a struggle. Otherwise no real complaints. Thank you.
Always kept informed.
Very good facilities.
Very happy with my mother's care.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your mother. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to The Limes family.
She seems happy there and is well looked after. She is always smartly dressed when I visit.
Staff are very good at involving her in activities such as painting, craft work, and balloon games. Mum really enjoys these activities and they provide good stimulation for her.
Staff alert us to any medical issues and call the doctor or ambulance as required.
Dietary needs are well catered for. Mum can choke easily so staff give her special thickened liquids to prevent this.
I am happy with my choice of The Limes for Mum. Dad has recently become a resident too, so it is lovely that they are together in a place where they are happy, safe, and well cared for.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our privilege to care for your parents and are delighted that they are settled and happy together. Your kind words are much appreciated and I will of course pass them on to The Limes family.
Friendly and efficient management and staff. The home and the individual rooms appear to be kept clean and tidy at all times and the meals appear to be of a good standard. All the staff appear to be of a friendly and cheerful disposition and the home gives the impression of being a friendly place to live or visit.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to The Limes family.
The experience I have had with my relative is, the carers are patient and calm when dealing with a relative who struggles to understand instructions. The home is always clean, tidy and welcoming. I am always able to talk to staff if I have any concerns. It would be good to have more activities for the residents.
Our mum is well looked after and very content. She is clean and well dressed when we visit and always looks as though her hair is brushed and styled. As visitors, we are greeted and feel at home there with her. It is a great place which feels like her home and not a sterile hospital. We are always informed about her, from changes of medication, her property that she has damaged by accident to any falls, ect. She is well monitored and we are very happy with The Limes Care Home.
We were relieved that the staff at The Limes were willing to provide end-of-life care for our dad so that he did not have to die in the hospital. They treated him with great dignity and respect at all times, as well as us as a family. The Limes staff create a lovely, homely community feel to the place. It always feels a happy place to visit.
Thank you for your kind words and please know it was a pleasure to care for such a nice man.
My mum, who has Alzheimer's, has been a resident of The Limes for approximately 10 months. During this time frame, every member of staff I have had contact with either by telephone or face to face has not only been professional, but also friendly, helpful and caring. When visiting, I observe staff interactions with other residents, and although staff are busy, they not only have time for residents, they are also compassionate, patient, caring and treat residents with the utmost respect. The staff go above and beyond, for example, due to their knowledge of Mum and tenacity, achieving a correct diagnosis of a broken hip, which the hospital had missed. I am always kept in the loop and feel reassured if Mum needs anything or there are any concerns I will be contacted. Mum constantly tells me how 'lovely' the staff are. She is safe, stimulated, happy and treated by staff like a family member. Words cannot express my appreciation for all the staff do for her and am forever grateful.
Dear Heather, Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your Mum and we are delighted that she has settled in so well. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will, of course, pass them on to Tamyn and the colleagues at The Limes.
I consider The Limes to be a good, well-managed care home with standards that meet expectations. However, I do feel that residents should be bathed/showered more often than once a week, as this can adversely affect their wellbeing, appearance and self-respect, especially so for females who like their hair to look and feel clean. Health monitoring and remedial actions could be better. These concerns may result from staff shortages as a result of Brexit and the covid pandemic but must be addressed now.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. Recruitment within the Social Care Industry is a challenge currently and is something we are working diligently on to ensure that our high standards are constantly met....
The home is understaffed - drastically. Since non-vaccinated staff were allowed back, there have been non-stop cases of covid. So it is clear the level of service is not as it should be. But I have no doubt the charges will go up again shortly.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. In response to the points raised - the staffing levels at the home are always relevant and based upon the number of residents in the home and are monitored daily and...
