Temple Croft Care Home

Mum is very happy here. She enjoys the food and is well looked after. It was the best decision for Mum to move in here. She is so much more healthy and happy and can have quality visits with her.

Amazing staff, very kind, helpful and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. My dad seems very settled content happy, this is my first visit. So I will complete another review. But I'm extremely happy with it so far and I've heard nothing but excellent reviews from people all over.

My sister went into Temple Croft for two weeks of respite, we found the home very comfortable and all staff were very caring and efficient. My sister was well cared for and would definitely be happy to return there should the need arise.

We can't thank Temple Croft enough for looking after our mum/nana. She has vascular dementia but she has settled in amazing. She is encouraged to join in activities that she thoroughly enjoys, every time we visit she is sat in the lounge with a hot drink. The staff are always around to ask questions and speak to. In a challenging and sometimes stressful job, they always have a smile on. Her room is always tidy and clean and her bed is made. She has even moved rooms when they realised she gravitated and favoured a different room which was empty to suit her.

In previous respite care, my nana has always wanted to come home with us after we've visited as we left, but here she is happy to stay and waves us off, which is reassuring to us and puts our minds at rest. We highly recommend Temple Croft for a respite placement.

My stepfather has been a resident for 3 months at this point. He has settled in well thanks to the care he receives from the attentive staff. The food always looks and smells delicious and there is always a good atmosphere in the lounge. The activities coordinator is very proactive and goes above and beyond to arrange things of interest for my stepfather and all the residents. The home seems very well run and the communication has been excellent. For example, they always ring if there’s been even a minor fall, or anything that we might need to know about concerning his care. His room is always neat and tidy and very clean.

I've been here for one year and I am quite satisfied and happy. I have made friends with all the different cultures and I have made friends with people with the same interests. I enjoy the activities, especially the entertainment. We enjoy the food which suits everyone's needs. The Manager is helpful and will do everything we need, The place is kept very clean and as good as have at home.

Before my mum came to stay here, she wasn't eating, drinking, or washing, she was basically wasting away. Now she is a totally different person, she's got a smile back on her face, she's clean and eating 3 meals a day and looks healthy again. I've nothing but praise for the staff for looking after her. Thank you.

Since my sister has come to Temple Croft Care Home I can see a really good improvement in my sister's health and appearance, she has made some friends and enjoys all the activities.

The staff are friendly and helpful at Temple Croft Care Home and is nice to see my nana in the company of other residents, she has been on her own for so long before she came to the home. The food is delicious, I got to have a meal with her very tasty, they have a lot of fun activities and visitors, would highly recommend.

I'm very happy here, there isn't anything that I would change. I love the garden. Our activities lady keeps me busy. The food is lovely, I love that my washing and clearing is done for me.

Very very good. I am very very happy here, the staff are friendly. I have made friends. I enjoy the singers when they come.

All the staff have been wonderful, nothing was too much, regularly asked is everything is OK. Very caring and understanding. My mum has been in a few care homes and Temple Court is the best by far. So friendly and helpful.

My mum has been at Temple Croft since March 2022. She was originally discharged directly from the hospital here but I couldn’t have chosen a better care home for her. She is sadly permanently bed-bound and some days has no capacity, other days she has some. She has received the utmost care and compassion from all members of staff who are just so kind, and caring and, although busy, always have time for her (and me when I visit). She has her hair and nails done by visiting professionals and is also visited by the lovely activities coordinator. The home is clean, the food smells great and the whole place has a really happy feel about it when I walk through it. Although I wish my mum didn’t need care, I can honestly say that I’m pleased she’s being looked after by a team of such lovely people - I couldn’t ask for more! Thank you

I've found the carers and all staff to be courteous and friendly at every visit. My sister is being cared for very well, excellent care to be precise. A very well-run care home, very clean and good food. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Temple Croft Care Home is managed very well and residents are looked after very well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Temple Croft Care Home to anyone who needs good care. The food is very good and the accommodation is comfortable and clean.

My overall experience with this home is first-rate. My wife is treated with the utmost resect.
