Very pleased with this care home for my mum. It seems a home from home. The cleanliness and overall experience are fantastic. You can forget you are in a care home. Mum has only been in a short while but after a bad experience at her previous home, we chose this one based on all the activities and engagement they do with the resident. I think we have made a good decision. The staff seem very professional too.

The staff are all helpful and cheery when I visit Mum. They take great care in making us welcome. With food a plenty and regular activities to keep Mum busy, she is a much happier person and I know she is safe 24 hours a day. All credit to the home!

The care assistants are friendly, helpful and caring towards residents and visitors. I am sure the home is compliant with recommended levels of staffing at all times but I feel that they could do with more staff. The care assistants work very hard and seem busy all the time. My mother says the food is delicious, varied and nutritious. The activities coordinator is excellent, she works so hard to provide a huge range of innovative activities and tries to include all residents. Cooks, cleaners and laundry staff are always cheerful and friendly when going about their work.

A super home with lovely, caring and thoughtful staff from the manager to the cleaners, cooks and handyman. Always smiling, patient and kind to all residents and have time to talk to family and even help them where needed. The home looks lovely after it's refresh and is always decorated to meet occasions i.e: Easter, Christmas etc. The activities are great and the meals always smell lovely with good variety.

I cannot thank the amazing team at Wrawby Hall enough for their continued care and kindness in looking after my father. They go above and beyond to fulfill each and every resident's personal needs. Myself and my family cannot thank you all enough.

Overall Experience

My sister-in-law has lived in Wrawby Hall for quite a few years now. She’s very happy and always smiling when we see her. The staff are fantastic, very welcoming and the care they give is amazing. The manager and staff treat the clients like their own family. I couldn’t ask for a better care home for my sister-in-law. Thank you. Although I do feel the bedroom is a bit on the small side when staff have to use equipment.

A wonderful home which goes above and beyond, always! My grandad was lucky enough to have the motorbike ride past organised for him, it was an incredibly special day that we'll cherish forever. Thank you!

Mum arrived at Wrawby Hall in March having been relocated from another care home. We have nothing but the utmost praise for the way Mum has been treated and cared for. She seems far happier and far less inclined to spend time in her room during the day.

Review from Sara B (Daughter of Resident) published on 10 August 2023 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My Father-in-law is now residing in Wrawby Hall Care Home where he is treated as a person first and foremost; where his lifeworld is embraced, and he is cared for with competence and courage because the team understand dementia; thus, treating the person and not merely the disease. As a result of this, Dad is no longer in torment and is settled, believing he is at home with Mum in the kitchen. He mobilises well now and enjoys the best quality of life possible under the circumstances. His ankles are not swollen, and he is always dressed in his own clothes which are laundered and hang neatly in his wardrobe. He looks forward to his meals and even partakes in activities with support. He awaits cataract surgery which we hope will further improve his quality of life. Furthermore, despite finally having a DOLS (Liberty Protection Safeguard) in place, he is still afforded a voice and a choice wherever possible. The manager's leadership and compassion is reflected throughout her team.

First class 100th Birthday Party given by Wrawby Hall and staff for mother-in-law; it was enjoyed by family and friends.

It is a well-run care home with dedicated staff and management and also has been upgraded to a very high standard over the last two years.
