This care home is one of the best.

Great food, the staff really care and mum is making friends.

This is now my home and I am happy in my room. I like the staff as they are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I am deaf so that is a nuisance but we cope.

My sister and I are very pleased with the care my mum receives each day. The staff are patient and kind and most are very knowledgeable about dementia. The home tries very hard to stimulate the residents and to encourage engagement with the local community. The food is of an excellent standard and the staff try very hard to make Wrawby Hall a home for my mum. They have also been very supportive of me when mum has been admitted to hospital.

I just wanted to write to show my appreciation to all the staff and the manager and just say thank you so much for everything you do for my father-in-law. I visited today and was made to feel so welcome. The home is absolutely beautiful and so clean and tidy and everyone is happy and smiling. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and especially the manager who came over and introduced herself, such a wonderful team. I know that when I left I knew that I was leaving my family member in the wonderful and caring hands of the staff. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

I am very comfortable here, most of the staff are very caring and help, others could improve their ways. The night staff are especially caring. The food is enjoyable and plenty of it.

My wife's grandmother came to Wrawby Hall at the end of 2021. During her time there, the care she received was wonderful. The staff, especially the home manager, showed great care and compassion towards both her and the family and took the time to spend with her and help her settle in. The staff were always very helpful and accommodating. The room she stayed in was decorated in a homely manner and was always very clean and tidy.

My mother required an emergency placement, as some work needed to be done on her own house. Wrawby Hall was recommended to us. The home manager and deputy manager went above and beyond to make sure we, as a family were reassured throughout the whole process and they ensured mother was comfortable throughout her stay. Her bedroom was beautiful and overlooked the grounds to the back of the home, which are stunning. The food of which we saw looked delicious, mum even gained weight during her stay. The staff are extremely polite and friendly. We are so grateful for what the home did for us and our mother. If she ever requires full-time care, Wrawby will 100% be the home of our choice. Thank you so so much again, for everything.

When we arrived at Wrawby Hall, the staff were so amazing towards my mum. They made her feel welcome. They are such a caring and friendly team. I can go home knowing she is safe and well looked after. The place is so clean and well kept and the food here looks really good. The staff and management go that extra mile, it's not just a job to them - they really care! The rooms are amazing and utilize the space well. Overall, we are so happy with Wrawby Hall.

My relative is very well looked after at Wrawby Hall. Staff are patient and caring with her. She has complex care needs and dual Alzheimer's and vascular dementia. There are many challenging behaviours which are managed by staff using various techniques. My relative does not always have her own clothes on. Sometimes when we visit we feel her room is untidy. She does not like the colour on the fireplace wall.

Poo on the floor in Mum's bedroom at Wrawby Hall, photos available. When I mentioned this to the worker, was informed cleaner off sick. No effort to clean it up by staff, had to do it myself. Went to see Mum in the dining room. Flies were everywhere on the table she was sitting at. The staff just standing around or on social media. No attempt to clean up the debris attracting flies. Disgusting. Will be raising this formally.

My grandfather is currently a resident at Wrawby Hall Care Home, we were very reserved at first about him going into 24-hour care but the care staff at Wrawby Hall have given us as a family nothing but reassurance. Grandad said he is very well looked after and the food is amazing. We can't thank the home enough for what they do for him.

Overall, the standard of care is excellent, provided by a dedicated, caring and professional team. Yes, there are posher places, and I do think the team appear a little stretched at times but, the care and attention the residents receive is first class. Every carer has time for every resident and treats people as individuals and with dignity.

I would highly recommend Wrawby Hall based on the staff and the care they deliver, I felt assured at all times that my mother was looked after by professionals with hearts of gold.

Caring staff but not enough of them. The staff are stretched and are not always available when needed e.g. for the toilet. The place is homely and Mum's room, in the old part of the building, is light and airy. A lot of time spent by residents around the edge of the room watching TV or asleep. I suppose this is a consequence of short staffing. Overall the home seems to be well run.

Reply from Andrew Savage, Managing Director at Wrawby Hall

I am pleased that you believe overall the home is run well and your mum's room is light and airy. Please be assured that we will take your comments on board regarding staffing. We do work hard to ensure we have a varied social programme but at times we must acknowledge that staff cannot always be immediately available. But we will review how we can improve things.
