Located in a peaceful corner of Scarborough, Priceholme provides residential and short-stay care for up to 32 residents in a friendly, purpose-designed home just minutes from the seafront. Peasholm Park, Scarborough Beach and Brunswick Shopping Centre are all nearby, offering easy access to scenic walks, local shops and family visits.

The home is arranged in a circular layout around the colourful Jubilee Garden—a calm, central space perfect for pottering, sitting in the sun or enjoying a chat with visitors. Bedrooms are en-suite and can be personalised, while communal lounges, a cosy conservatory and a new log cabin give residents plenty of space to relax and connect.

Dining is homely and heartfelt, with resident-led menus, themed “Fakeaway Nights,” and favourites like jam sponge and sticky toffee pudding. The team also hosts cheese and wine evenings, birthday bakes and regular kitchen catch-ups to keep the menu fresh and familiar.

Although my mother was only a resident for a very short time, the care that she received in her final days could not be faulted. The staff were so very kind, both to mummy and also my sister and I. Our mother died peacefully in their loving care. Thank you.

My father has been a resident in Priceholme for over 2 years now. He is settled and happy. I am confident he is looked after by the staff of Priceholme in an exemplary manner. We visit every 3 or 4 weeks. We live in the west of the country, we always arrive unannounced and always find dad to be clean
and well dressed. Both he and myself find staff kind, friendly and obliging. Thank you for giving me peace of mind.

My very elderly mum was a resident at Priceholme for a short period earlier this year until her care needs changed. During her stay, the management and staff went above and beyond their duty of care to make my mum's stay as pleasurable and as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I would

Visited the care home to celebrate the 100th birthday of a close friend. Met by a member of the staff, who escorted us to the dining room where we were seated at a tastefully laid out table.
Well prepared sandwiches, cakes and tea were served.
A very enjoyable time was had by all.

We approached Priceholme for advice on respite care. They were supportive and offered advice on how to go above things sensibly.
They were patient and I felt a real understanding from them as we procrastinated for longer than we should have.
The place itself has been proved to be excellent and met
our needs/expectations on all levels. Mum seems happy and is certainly safe. Care staff superb.

A bright and airy building. Clean and nicely furnished all the staff I came into contact with were very welcoming and cheerful. The staff were also more importantly very caring towards my elderly friend who was just beginning her residency.

Priceholme really tries hard to make it a 'home from home' experience. It will always be a difficult transition but I have found that Mum has been treated as an individual and with complete dignity and respect. The colleagues here genuinely care and make one to one relationships, involving Mum in activities
whenever possible and making a fuss on her birthday. As a visitor, I am always made to feel welcome and involved. Thank you.

My friend enjoys the privacy of his own room, securing in the knowledge that caring staff are never far away. The staff provide a high standard of nursing care (and a friendly word with visitors too!). The home is spotless and well maintained. The food is excellent but there is always new training and
initiatives to improve things for the residents. I can't praise it enough.

Priceholme is an excellent care home. My friend has his needs met by staff who are consistently kind and caring. I feel welcome when I visit and have seen that respect is given to all residents and visitors.
There is a great activity programme operating and the food and drink provided are of high
quality. The home is clean, warm and comfortable.
If I needed a care home myself I would choose this one.

For the money I pay - the food is terrible. Always short staffed. Tablets which are supposed to be taken with food come 30 mins to 1 hour later. Mostly kept very clean and tidy. Staff who are here are wonderful - except for the kitchen.
