Broadway Lodge

My Mother was admitted to Broadway Lodge in early June and I have nothing but praise for the staff, they are so friendly and helpful and I have been kept informed from the very beginning. Mum seems to be settling in nicely and very much wants to stay and make Broadway Lodge her new home.

Nice, cosy home. Mom is well looked after, always clean and fresh and clothes always clean. She has a lovely room which is always clean and tidy and looks out onto a well-kept garden. Mum says the food is good and plentiful, I find the staff very able and friendly. Overall, I find Broadway Lodge perfect for my mom.

My friend settled in quickly and enjoys the company of other residents and staff. He actually feels at home after just a few months. He enjoys the food and looks healthier than he has done, over the last couple of years, living independently.

We would recommend Broadway Lodge.

The manager and the team have made Dad's transition an easy one.

My aunt is happy in Broadway Lodge, she is looked after and this is the best place she could have one.

After several visits I have found Broadway Lodge to be excellent. All the staff are polite and helpful. The care home itself is clean, warm, well equipped, friendly staff, the manager especially is very helpful, friendly and trustworthy. No worries or concerns, which is very reassuring.

I had previously contacted and visited many homes and decided that this seemed the best. The owner and his staff were very welcoming and the place appeared very homely. The staff care is very professional and appropriate to each resident. The main social rooms are cosy and welcoming and I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for care.

Around a year ago, my grandad was admitted to this care home (Broadway Lodge). He is extremely happy and we can see a positive change in his health and attitude. He is always well looked after, fed and very clean. When my family and I come to visit, we always feel a sense of community/family in the home and the staff are absolutely lovely and kind with not only the residents but the families/visitors too.

When my grandad was admitted it was, for him, the beginning of a new and better life. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and love their job. They support the guests, both physically and emotionally, everyone is treated with dignity and respect. My grandad is very happy and recovered his sense of humour. An excellent place.

I love the food here.

My experience to date has been a good one. The care home is clean and comfortable. Food is generally good. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Staff are very attentive, can't do enough for residents. My friend is looked after very well. The property could do with a bit of a facelift and some activities organised/days out etc but overall, a lovely home environment and good food.

I know my dad also really enjoys the home-cooked food.

My mum has lived at Broadway Lodge Care Home for the past two years and is very happy, as are we, with her care. The staff are excellent and always ensure my mum has the highest standard of care. I feel very settled knowing she is safe and taken care of. I highly recommend Broadway Lodge.

Mum has been in there 12 months now, we originally thought it would be temporary until we could move her nearer to where we live but seeing how she has settled and how wonderful the staff are with her, we decided she isn't going anywhere. We have a lot of support from the management and feel relieved that she is safe, its not a care home, its just a big family.

I sold my house to come into Broadway Lodge after the hospital sent me here for a few weeks and I knew I could not cope on my own and I was very well looked after here. I have been here just over a year now, it is the best thing I've done and I am very happy I came here.

Broadway Lodge has been for my father a second house and above all a second family. He likes the staff, the place, the atmosphere there. When he was admitted he was a sad old man but now he is amazing. He sang and played bowling there, something that never happened when he was at home always alone because I work long hours. An excellent place. Strongly recommended.

Since my mum has been a resident at Broadway Lodge, all staff have been lovely. the manager has been amazing. Caring and supportive over the last few months. Mum has settled very well and has made some good friends with fellow residents. Thank you all very much.
