All staff are very helpful and caring. The deputy manager is always very helpful and understanding. Nothing is a problem, very understanding. Cleaning staff are always chatting when cleaning - helpful to residents.

Cooking staff are always willing to make what the resident wants.

Happy with care given. Not sure about 'activities', unfortunately, some are not interested in doing anything as going out on outings. Maybe more encouragement required for indoor input but do realise staff can only do so much.

My father has been a resident at Eighton Lodge for the last two years and my mother was there for a short period.

During this time, they were and are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I would have no hesitation in recommending Eighton Lodge care home to others.

My mother spent nearly three years at Eighton Lodge care home, she was unable to do anything for herself at the end. The staff were very caring and made myself and sisters feel really welcome and looked after us at the end of my mother's life. She passed with dignity with the staff's help and care. Thank you.

Public areas and rooms cannot be faulted - more hotel than home. Staff all welcoming, smile, friendly, helpful and nothing is a bother. Questions always answered.

Only negatives - post not always given out on time (actually missed a hospital appointment). Only one lift which has been out of action frequently over last two weeks. No other way to get residents back to their rooms upstairs.

The staff in this facility have been extremely kind, attentive and friendly with my mother, whilst ensuring they act professionally and in her best interests. We, the family, are encouraged to attend and welcomed warmly on our arrival. The facilities provided; family room, terraces and beautiful garden provide a homely area to visit in relative privacy.

We have been very happy with the overall level of care for my father. Staff appear knowledgeable as to my father's mental and physical state. He is more settled now and despite issues re. his mood, his mobility and his medical condition, staff are 'in his corner' and want him to succeed in his day to day life.
