Staff are very friendly and caring, but most importantly, there are always a range of activities for the residents to enjoy and some of the day trips seem, to me, to be very enjoyable! If ever there is an issue relating to my mother, I am notified with prompt efficiency.

My mum has recently moved to Ryton Towers from her home in North Yorkshire. I am so grateful for the constant kindness and support from all the staff. They have enabled Mum to feel safe, secure and to settle in really well. We have been able to bring ornaments and put pictures on the wall in her room
to make it feel more familiar. There is a great variety of activities running daily and though Mum doesn't join in all of these, she is regularly told what's happening. The dining area is lovely with a great variety of food and the whole home is kept beautifully clean and tidy. The staff are always ready with smiles, have positive attitudes and are always discreet. The staff have been happy to listen to myself and Mum and make suggestions to help her adapt and be more comfortable. I really can't thank the staff enough!

We had such a happy visit yesterday to see my cousin, the staff were so very helpful. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the care worker, but the lady could not have been more helpful, bringing in an extra chair for my husband who has mobility problems, and taking a photograph of the three of
us with him, we were unable to visit him on his actual Birthday but she kindly promised to have the birthday cake cut with other residents on Sunday when it was his birthday. As we had travelled a long way the lady also extended our visit and made it possible for him to go for his lunch a little late. She obviously was a very caring lady and had an excellent relationship with him. We all felt happy and reassured that he was in the right place and receiving excellent support and care. Thank you.

I would not hesitate to recommend this care home. My mother is looked after so well, giving my family peace of mind. She has recently had a stay in hospital and since her return, the staff have gone the extra mile in welcoming her back and rehabilitating her and reassuring us. A lovely, friendly, caring

From initial enquiry and unannounced visit to collect literature, all staff have been professional, polite, friendly, courteous and very welcoming. I was extremely impressed by the speed at which my mum was assessed and accepted into the home and the preparation of the room and placement of personal
items. Her room is clean comfortable, warm and cosy and it is very reassuring to be able to visit daily and see her safe, secure, clean and well taken care of. Many varied daily activities and beautiful restaurant.

We currently have 2 family members at Ryton Towers care home and have had between October 2022 and January 2023.
So far we/they have experienced very good care, kind and attentive staff and a lovely environment.
The activities that are available for the residents have been very well received, are
entertaining and enjoyable.

Both times we visited my great aunt she always seems very happy and comfortable and loves her little room and she speaks very highly of the staff and how hard they all worked. The home is in a gorgeous garden surrounding, inside it is very well looked after and immaculate. Whenever we called the home

Mother has lived in the Towers since January this year. She moved in during COVID, and I was convinced that she wouldn't settle (before dementia took her, she always said going into care was her worst nightmare). However, due to the persistence and care of the ladies at Ryton Towers, she is now happily
settled.
My mother is not a joiner and prefers her own company, again the staff are always trying to get her involved in activities, and to my amazement, she is regularly seen on the social media page enjoying trip's out and doing crafts and flower arranging.
I cannot praise the staff enough; they always have time to speak to me about my mother either over the phone or face to face. She has improved dramatically in her time in care, and I'm incredibly grateful to all involved in her care.

This home is absolutely fantastic. Mother has been there 12-months now and has settled in straight away, despite all the Covid issues we were all dealing with.
Staff are great, always happy to talk to you and keep you up to date.
There is a brilliant Facebook page that keeps us updated with brilliant
pictures of the daily activities. That is a godsend and means I don't bother the staff for updates as you can see it all daily.
The activities though are one of the best things, and my mother is always in the middle of things - I think that is what has made the transition to care so much easier for her - she is occupied every day with something, and that makes me happy to see her happy.
Visiting has been sorted despite being so hard during Covid as there is the secure pod and a beautiful garden setting when that was allowed.
Just a fantastic place all around.

Ryton Towers has a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in the front door, the staff are more like friends, sadly we have not been able to do this for the last 12 months. To get around this Ryton Towers has set up systems for relatives to be able to keep in touch by phone and video
calls with relatives and by zoom calls with management and staff. The home has increased the amount of entertainment and activities during the lockdown to offset the lack of visiting options. Wellburn Care set up visitor pods very early so that as much contact as possible could be maintained. Phone contact with management and staff is very easy and welcomed. I would say that “communication and care” are paramount in the minds of the home and the company. My mother has felt very settled and cared for these last 6 years and I am confident that her needs are being well met.

Both Mum and Dad are residents of the home for over a year now and I have nothing but praise for the way the staff care for mum and dad. I live over 300 miles away from them and I know that I can be assured that the care that they receive is of the highest standard and to be honest I couldn’t do anything

My mam went to Ryton Towers for two weeks she was very down and quiet before she went, not eating or drinking a lot. Due to covid I was unable to go any further than the entrance lobby or visit her but I rang every day to ask if she was ok the staff would give me a daily update on how she was doing
and answer any questions I had. She was in isolation for most of her stay but the staff were in and out of her room asking if she needed anything drinks snacks and asked her to do some activities with them, on her second week she was allowed in the main day room with others and took part in pamper time and other things. When she came home she was more cheery eating and drinking more (even the ambulance driver commented how full of beans she was). I would definitely recommend Ryton Towers as I had no worries while she was in their care as could relax and recharge my batteries.

I cannot fault this care home. They go above and beyond to make life perfect for both residents and families. Despite my father having dementia, he has thrived here and so has my Mum despite them being apart. I have had relatives in care homes prior to this and although I thought they were excellent,
this home is far better than any of them. Well done Ryton Towers, you deserved one mighty pat on the back. Five Star care.

Ryton Towers has been my Mother's home for almost six years, where she has a lovely bright room with garden views and many of her own things around her. She loves her room. She is cared for with kindness and respect, with a real awareness of her physical, mental and emotional well being. Any health
issues she has had have been quickly spotted and dealt with. She is able to make choices, to enjoy her own company or join with others. The activities are too many to list here but there’s something for everyone. Since the start of lockdown, the whole team has been wonderful, working extra hard to keep residents safe, healthy and happy. We have been informed every step of the way in emails, weekly zoom meetings, and on the website. The company has stepped up from the start, with staffing and facilities e.g. the garden pod and family communications. My Mother has her own Ipad so we have been able to talk to her very regularly. Thanks to carers who help with this. Thanks to the whole team!

Our elderly relative has been at Ryton Towers for about 18 months now. Whenever we have visited the staff have been lovely. There is a very kind and caring atmosphere in the home. Ryton Towers is scrupulously clean. Visiting is easy and there are several areas within the home where friends and relatives
can chat to their relative over a cup of tea or coffee. The home puts on lots of activities as well as personal services for the residents. During the early part of the Covid crisis, the home had to battle the NHS over its discharge policy in order to keep other residents in the home safe. I think they've done an amazing job in very challenging circumstances. The home posted photos of our relative on her birthday a few days ago with presents from the home and a cake with candles. I have never seen anything other than care and compassion from the staff which means a lot to us.
