Sovereign Lodge

Since coming to Sovereign Lodge, my mam has been so happy. We are confident she is cared for to a very high standard - the staff are great!

My mam has been a resident at Sovereign Lodge for nearly four years. She is so well looked after, and the manager and team of carers do a fantastic job. I have peace of mind as I know she is in a lovely place.

Since my dad moved in in January. I have found all the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. My dad is well looked after, and the staff show plenty of patience. They encourage him to come out of his room, but he is stubborn and is happy in his own company. The staff do go in and chat and have a laugh with him. So thank you to them!

As a new service user of only a few months, She has settled really well. Staff are always cheery and chatty. She has started to eat better now and experiencing new foods. We were kept up to date at all times when she was not well. Her first Christmas at Sovereign Lodge was a good experience and interacted well. Overall, in her first few months, she has settled well.

My dad was admitted last December, just before Christmas, on a temporary basis, but as it turned out, he couldn't return home and was made permanent in July. He found it hard to adjust at first, being very independent but slowly, because of the devotion of the wonderful staff, he soon began to adjust. He has had wonderful care, and I can't speak too highly of the wonderful staff, who have also made me feel very welcome when I visit.

Our mam has settled into Sovereign Lodge (Care Home) since early summer; it took her a few months to get used to not being able to lock her door, but I have to say, it is such a huge relief to witness, her total attitude and demeanour change with her being so very content and extremely happy with how well cared for she is by all the staff at Sovereign Lodge! She tells us that the staff cannot do enough for her and are very kind, and they even appear with a nice cup of tea when she hasn't asked for one and are always checking in to see how she is! Easy access to the communal areas has meant that Mam has made some friends with other residents and staff and looks forward to socialising with them in the restaurant and lounge areas. Mam was 93 in October and was surprised by staff followed by some fellow residents singing her Happy Birthday while carrying a cake to her, just fab (my sister left the cake for them to give her). She enjoys a bath a few times/week, as well as frequent showers. All is just perfect.

Living here was very happy and pleasant.

I love living here. The girls are like my family, and they look after me fantastically. I get everything I need here. The food is lovely, and it's nice and clean. I can't thank all the carers for everything they do to look after me.

Sadly my mam's health has recently declined. The manager and her team have been amazing and have gone above and beyond to care for her. I can honestly say Sovereign Lodge staff are simply the best and a credit to the group.

My mam has been in Sovereign Lodge for nearly eleven years now, and from day one, she has been looked after like royalty! The whole care team are fantastic and treat every resident with extreme care and dignity. The manager has an "open door" policy and is always in and around the home happily chatting and reassuring the residents. The home itself is lovely, clean and has great facilities eg, nail bard, hairdressing salon and always has a welcoming, cosy atmosphere. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Sovereign Lodge to anyone looking for a home from home for their loved one.

Sovereign Lodge is a lovely care home. The staff are very friendly and most importantly are fantastic carers. The house has a happy vibe and all the residents are well cared for. The manager is always around to listen and is very approachable. The food is excellent and plenty.

Fantastic staff who look after us wonderfully. I have a lovely room, and there are lots of nice things to do.

I love living here. Everyone here treats me well; I have no family, but the staff here are my family. It's very friendly and a happy place with good food. We are well looked after here. I have no problems.

Found most of the staff to be very caring and considerate to my mother, going above and beyond their duties.

I visit my partners mother on a weekly basis, Sovereign Lodge is always very warm and welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and my partners mum is very happy living there. I would certainly recommend it.
