Sovereign Lodge

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Every member of staff from management, carers, office staff, domestics, handyman and gardener are pleasant and always have time to say hello. I've been through some difficult times with my mum and there is alway support from all the staff and the manager's door is always open for any concerns.

Sovereign Lodge is a happy cheerful place, the staff are extremely versatile they work long shifts but still manage a smile at the end of the day. My sister and I very much appreciate the support they give us.

I was reluctant about my mam going into a home. When she was placed here I was over the moon. The home is fabulous. I cannot express my feelings for the staff. My mam is so well looked after. They really care for her, I now have peace of mind to know my mam is safe. If anything happens I'm immediately phoned about it. I am just so happy she is in this caring and safe environment.

My mother certainly gets on with all the staff. She enjoys the banter and is always saying that the staff are friendly and the meals are enjoyable and that she has a nice room.

My mother became a resident approx one year ago. It took a few weeks for her to settle into her new routine but has now become a member of her new community. She has never looked better since she became a resident as she is always well presented, clean and looks forward to mealtimes. Although there can be challenges the staff cope well and I feel confident that she is secure and well cared for.

Happy with everything mother happy and the staff are excellent. Very impressed with the home.

The meals are very good and a homely environment exists all the time. The staff are friendly and always available to attend to one's needs.

There are plenty of activities and lots of interaction for the residents. The safety is first class which is a big factor. My mam requires a lot of reassurance and she certainly receives it.

Mams clothing and laundry is very well done and neatly put away. The food is great and mam enjoys it for sure!.

My mother was lucky enough to be offered a place at Sovereign Lodge in November 2018. Although her stay was short, the care they gave her in the final weeks of her life was exceptional. They not only looked after my mother with love and care they looked after the whole family. They gave support at a very sad time. No words can say how truly grateful we are as a family to every single member of staff.

When my mum needed full-time care, Sovereign Lodge has the light at the end of an uncertain tunnel. From my first visit, the atmosphere of calm and reassurance was wonderful. Every member of staff treats my mum like family and I am always made so welcome. I have every confidence my mum is being well looked after and I can relax knowing how calm she is.

It's a lovely place, from staff, management, cleaners and kitchen staff, they are very professional.

From the moment I walked into Sovereign Lodge, I knew I had found a home where my mam would be happy. Th welcome and support we both received made a stressful and difficult decision much easier. It is a safe environment and the overall feel to home is very friendly and relaxed and that is due to the fact they have a very strong and committed team. My mum has settled in well and all her needs are catered for by the genuinely wonderful staff,

My partner's mother has been in Sovereign Lodge for 1 year. It is a really nice home, clean, staff are really friendly and very attentive towards all the residents. The food always looks good and there are plenty of staff. Also, there is always some kind of activity going on for the residents ie. singers, animals visiting the home which everyone seems to love. It's a pleasure to visit this home. Recently refurbished to a high standard. The gardens are lovely, seats outside and plenty of bird feeders.

Dad went to live in Sovereign Lodge before Xmas after a bit of a traumatic few months due to his dementia and needing 24/7 care now. We feel Dad has settled quickly and that is entirely down to the manager and her lovely staff, it's amazing because Dad really fought against going into full-time care and it was a really upsetting time for all the family. It's only been two months and he calls sovereign lodge home and he loves the staff, when we take him out he is always happy to go back so we know he is happy there. Sovereign Lodge is clean, well decorated and always pleasant to visit but the staff are the best thing about the place they are really friendly and caring, they do a great job. Dad says "the grubs canny" which is high praise from him so he's happy with the catering as well.

Excellent care. Excellent manager and her team, very supportive. Excellent conditions. Nothing is a bother. Become friends, interest not only for my dad's wellbeing but mine as well.
