Mam has been in Riverwell Beck dementia care four years now and has been very happy there. She loves all the staff and has always been well looked after by everyone. Just recently she became unwell and had to go into hospital this had a bad effect on her and she wasn't very good, within a few days
of being back at the Home the caring and wonderful staff had got her back to eating and drinking again, walking about again and looking more like her usual self. Thankyou to all of the lovely caring staff they are all amazing and appreciated so much.

My mam has been at sovereign Lodge since October 2024 the staff are amazing. The staff are caring, warm, friendly and compassionate. They take the time to sit and talk with mam. Our family is very happy with the care and support Mam receives. We are always welcomed into the building warmly by any member
of staff that is around. The staff always have a moment to discuss any question we have about mam's care and any worries we may about mams health. I feel the staff know mam very well and are able to adjust to her moods. There are activities every day ranging from arts and crafts to exercise classes and visiting entertainment. Mam rarely gets involved but is asked daily if she wants to join in.
The staff work extremely hard and I sometimes feel that there should be more staff working to cope with the amount of residents and the individual care each person needs.

My mother has been a resident here for 14 months. During this time I have felt that the care she has received has been exemplary. Any concerns that I have had have been dealt with promptly, with care and compassion. I would like to commend the staff here for the care they provide.

My mum seems very happy with the care she's getting. I have no concerns about the safety of my mum. The staff are very friendly, efficient and organised. My mum has her favourite carers and keeps mentioning them by name. It's important to me she gets the right care, as she has no family apart from myself
(her only son). I feel the staff are easy to approach and talk to and we are both respected. The only negative, she doesn't like or eat all the food she gets.

My mother came to The Old Prebendal House for respite care, and had great care and attention there for six weeks. The staff were all kind and patient and helped her through some difficult challenges. Her room was spacious and homely, and the facilities are in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Visitors
loved coming to see her there! We felt very grateful and the nurses, carers and management for helping her in her recovery. A warm friendly haven.

I was booked into the nursing home for a few days after a surgical operation, assuming I would need help with daily washing etc before going home. The whole experience was restful and helpful. The staff always polite, helpful, cheerful, night and day.

My mum has been a resident at Kingston Court for over a year now, and I can honestly say the care she receives has been life-changing. When she first arrived, we had been told she only had weeks to live. Thanks to the incredible dedication of the team, she settled quickly and has continued to respond
so well to the care and support around her.


Every member of staff - from the nurses and carers to the cleaners, reception team, maintenance, activities staff, and the manager, Kim - shows genuine commitment to providing the highest standard of care. Their warmth, professionalism, and consistency shine through every day.


I visit my mum as often as I can, but on the days I'm unable to be there, I have complete peace of mind knowing she is safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who truly look after her wellbeing. That reassurance is priceless.


I am deeply grateful to everyone at Kingston Court. They have made such a meaningful difference to my mum's quality of life, and to mine.
