Ashlea Mews Care Home

Excellent staff, really warm welcome, very prepared for my nana's arrival. Recommend to anyone looking for a care home.

At 4am in May, I had a phone call from the staff of Ashlea Mews about the poorly condition of my mother. They had phoned an ambulance because of her very poor condition. The ambulance came within half an hour of me arriving at the home. They thought she had sepsis and with the assistance of staff, took her to hospital. She had antibiotics stat and thankfully, recovered enough to be discharged back. I cannot thank the staff enough - they saved her life.

Very caring staff, fantastic management, lovely clean rooms, always smells nice highly recommended. My mum took a while to settle but the staff no just when she's having an off day and know her moods now. Massive thank you to the manager and her excellent staff.

My husband went into respite for a few days - it is well run. He enjoyed his stay and will be going back.

I am happy with the care my mam receives. Her needs are met and the staff are friendly and approachable.

The only area I would like to see improve is an increase of daily stimulation/activities for the residents, although I am aware of the recent appointment of an additional co-ordinator which should help.

I have found all staff to be very helpful and understanding. Nothing is too much for them. I only hope I have the same care if the need arises in my later life.

Ashlea Mews is a very good nursing home. Very clean good care and residents are kept clean and tidy. The rooms are of a good standard. The staff are very friendly and always on hand if you need anything. No complaints at all. I would highly recommend it to anybody that needs care.

I find the staff helpful, friendly caring and unpatronising and I believe they do everything in their power to keep her happy and safe.

My Mam was here from December 17 until 31st May 2018. Fab staff, fab care.

Mam has been really poorly for the last 3 months. The ongoing care she has received has been second to none. The staff have done their utmost to ensure she has been looked after. She has since sadly passed away but I cannot fault the care she received

One afternoon with a singer of old-fashioned songs was really a lovely afternoon with everyone joining in with the sing-song and a little dance with lots of other good afternoons and nights.

The routine, meals and atmosphere were of great benefit to him.

In the eight months my mam stayed here, I could not fault one thing. All the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for my mam.

You can go on holiday and if you have any worries, you can phone them and they will give you an update. My mam was there for nearly 3 years and in that time, I joined her for Christmas dinner and her birthday was celebrated. 5-stars.

My Mam has beein in Ashlea Mews since May last year. I find the staff very good, easy to talk to. The food is good and also the activities. I would recommend it to anyone who was thinking about putting their relatives in care.

This is a lovely caring home in which my sister is very happy. She is always treated with kindness and dignity, thanks to the excellent example set by the management.

Very comfortable home, ideal furnishings for residents, very nice staff, only visited for 2 weeks but settled well.
