My sister's dementia is quite advanced and she has great difficulty eating, drinking and communicating. I find the standard of care provided to be extremely high. She is kept as clean as is possible.
The flooring has been changed in her bedroom to help keep her room as hygienic as it can be and great
attention is given to her diet.
I find the staff helpful, friendly caring and unpatronising and I believe they do everything in their power to keep her happy and safe.

Mam has been really poorly for the last 3 months. The ongoing care she has received has been second to none. The staff have done their utmost to ensure she has been looked after. She has since sadly passed away but I cannot fault the care she received

One afternoon with a singer of old-fashioned songs was really a lovely afternoon with everyone joining in with the sing-song and a little dance with lots of other good afternoons and nights.

Dad moved in for respite for 6 weeks until I sorted his care package for home.
The staff kept me informed of his well being at all times and were very approachable to discuss his transition home.
The routine, meals and atmosphere were of great benefit to him.

This home is friendly and treats all residents with dignity, There is plenty for them to do.
Staff go above and beyond their duty. Visitors can go anytime and are always welcome.
You can go on holiday and if you have any worries, you can phone them and they will give you an update. My mam was there
for nearly 3 years and in that time, I joined her for Christmas dinner and her birthday was celebrated. 5-stars.

My Mam has beein in Ashlea Mews since May last year. I find the staff very good, easy to talk to. The food is good and also the activities. I would recommend it to anyone who was thinking about putting their relatives in care.

I find this home a pleasure to be in when visiting my nan I feel welcome every time I come in. The staff are fab if ever I need anything all I have to do is ask if I have a problem it is sorted.

Dad has received the best possible care at Ashlea Mews.
He has just been moved into a much nicer room. Bigger and has a view out of the window, which because he is confined to a chair all day, is invaluable. He has no complaints and seems happy with the care he gets which in turn makes us happy.

When visiting my nana, she is dressed well and we always feel welcome. Residents always seem happy. My nana loves her outings the staff take her on and loves her activities.
If Nana is under the weather, staff are very attentive. 5* to all staff.

At 93, after living on his own for 30 years, dementia meant Dad could not cope alone. We thought living in Residential Care was going to be a big change for him and were concerned he would not settle. Due to the excellent care, compassion and empathy of every member of staff, he settled amazingly
well and even said how content he was. This place gave him company, gave him back his independence, gave him a renewed confidence, and felt safe again as all his needs were met or anticipated. The staff were equally caring when a physical illness meant new needs had to be met. I cannot praise the staff enough. He was taken out, he was involved in social activities, parties, entertainment, plus the staff got to know him well and appreciated his sense of humour and stubbornness. The management and staff were always on hand and were able to tweak things for personal care as things arose. We would recommend to anyone.

I find that the staff have great patience and are very helpful, they really seem to care about the residents in their charge. Also, the management are very supportive and take time to help you as it is very difficult getting your head around a relative who has dementia.

As my mother lives with me she was very anxious going into respite while we went abroad on holiday. The staff at Ashlea Mews were kind, considerate and their standard of care was excellent. Myself and my mother would most definitely use Ashlea Mews care home for respite again.

Very pleased with the care and dignity which was received by my mother in law in the three years she was in care. Not a very easy woman to care for as she didn't always appreciate what was being done for her.
