The staff are lovely, kind and considerate to everyone, they have taken time to get to know mam without overwhelming her during the process of moving, all residents are treat as adults and activities available reflect this eg cheese and wine afternoons, quiz nights, pamper sessions, gents clubs, local walks and sometimes entertainment from outside such as singers.
The building itself feels very homely, several areas inside where residents are able to choose a smaller quiet space or interact as a larger group, there are also some lovely outdoor areas with tables and chairs to sit in the sun or to do gardening activities
It feels such a special place and mam loves it here

I have been blown away by the care shown to my Dad since he moved into Glenholme, in Nov 2025. From the very first meeting, the team showed a holistic approach to his care, including supporting all of us through the transition. The team have turned what was a gut wrenching decision to have to make, into a positive and seamless experience. Every aspect of my Dad's care gets excellent attention, from ensuring he's dressed smartly to dealing with serious medical emergencies. They've also taken the time to get to know him as an individual - from what he likes to eat ( he loves the food!) , to engaging him in SAFC banter. The team also look after my Mam when she visits - providing practical and emotional support. The atmosphere in the home is welcoming, with lots of chat and laughter, and has the feeling of a home, not an institution. This makes all the difference. Knowing he is in such a supportive and warm environment brings real peace of mind. Forever thankful.

All the staff I have met have been very friendly and helpful. I feel her needs are being met.
My dad had resided at Glenholme for over a year now and we have found the staff and the care he receives excellent. They all go above and beyond to support him to be clean, engaged with and mostly; happy. My dad has recently had a decline with his health and the MDT meetings and reviews have been invaluable. There has been a consistent coordinated approach to provide the best health care plan to meet his needs and incorporate his and our wishes and feeling with regards to ongoing care. We as a family feel fully supported to make decisions for him to be looked after. We are very grateful for the staff treating dad with dignity and like their own. Thank you xx
Very happy with the home and the people who work there and the mangement. Kepp up the good work.

My mother has a good quality of life at Glenholme, and I am always impressed by the number of activities there are at the home. The staff are really friendly when I visit or see Mum weekly by video call. It is great that I can speak to her weekly and she obviously gets on well with the staff who help her video call. She has been there a long time and they talk like old friends. I live some distance away so the ability to talk by video call is really important to us.
