The staff were very welcoming. They offered tea/coffee and juice to the great-grandchildren as well as biscuits. My nana looked clean, tidy and most importantly she was happy. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough to help.

The carers are first class the, accommodation is good and the home at the moment is completely being refurbished.


The meals are nutritious and well presented. Activities are many and varied.

We always find the staff to be very welcoming. There is always an upbeat happy atmosphere and it really lifts the spirits of visitors and residents. There are always activities for the residents and plenty of outings. The staff are all very caring and accommodating, nothing is ever too much trouble.
We always feel relaxed when we visit and are made to feel like part of the Glenholme family.

My mother-in-law moved to Glenholme in August this year. The change in her has been amazing. She has now settled in and our family are pleased with her care.
The staff from management to cleaners are always pleasant and very helpful, whilst remaining professional.
The help my wife has received from
them since her mother was admitted has been greatly appreciated.

My nana has been a resident since August. She is now happy at this home.
The staff are kind, caring and good at their jobs. The home is always warm and welcoming and clean.

The care my mother receives at Glenholme is very good. I cannot fault any of the staff. They go the extra mile to make sure that her needs are met.
The food is very nice and very appetising.
The home has just been renovated to a very high standard.

My mother moved into Glenholme in January 2017. I have been extremely happy with her care there. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing ever seems to be a bother.

Mam has always been very happy here, staff are caring and I have no concerns. There are lots of activities and I feel she is well looked after. Now that the home is being refurbished (which was long overdue) I feel much more that she is in the very best place. Well done to everyone at Glenholme.

Mum seems to be settling in now and seems happy and comfortable. Plenty of staff who are always welcoming and friendly. The home has a lovely, warm, and homely feeling. Plenty of activities and outings for the residents. The refurbishment is amazing.

I have complete confidence in the staff at Glenholme House regarding the care of my mother. She can be very vocal at times of confusion but the staff are able to reassure her with calm words and a cuddle! She has an irregular sleep pattern but her meals are always ordered at a time to suit her. She
can get distressed when the staff attend to her personal care but the staff act quickly and professionally to ensure she is kept clean and dry. I have such faith in the staff that I recently recommended the home to a friend whose mother is now a resident.

I am very pleased with the care and attention my mam receives in this care home. Due to her mood swings, mam can be very difficult to care for and I have always found both day and night staff to be very patient and caring. She is allowed to stay in bed in a morning if she doesn't want to get up early
and although she is on stage 3 diet she enjoys her food.

Natasha Peebles

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2016

Natasha's journey with Wellburn began at Glenholme House Care Home as a Care Assistant in April 2016 and quickly earning a promotion to Team Leader in November 2016. Her leadership qualities shone through, leading to her promotion to Deputy Manager in December 2021, acting Home Manager in July 2022, and ultimately becoming Home Manager of Glenholme in November 2022.


Natasha holds a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care and is enrolling in the Level 5 NVQ.

Adam Brennan

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2022

Adam's journey at Wellburn Care Homes began with us in July 2022 at Glenholme House Care Home, starting as a Night Shift Team Leader. His dedication quickly earned him a promotion to Deputy Manager in January 2023.


With over 10 years of experience in health and social care, Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his role. He holds a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and is currently enrolling in the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.


Adam is also the end-of-life champion for Glenholme House Care Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support during the most critical times.
