The care and support I have received since moving into Grangewood in June 2022 have been excellent. The staff are very caring and supportive to everyone and always have time to sit and chat and make you feel special.

My mother gets the care she deserves. She always has nice things to say about the staff and management as they are all so kind and helpful. They always know when there is anything wrong and know just what to do. The activities are always different and a lot of fun and it gives family and friends a chance to join in with the residents. Grangewood gets 10 out of 10 from me and my family.

I'm afraid to say have never wanted to go into care when or if the time came to that, but now I have my uncle in Grangewood care home, I would put my name down now! Too much to mention in every way, but most important, is the care in every aspect; every person is met with so much dedication, but all staff, handyman, domestics, management, the kitchen, just on and on.

Never known so much time and care given to all.

The overall care at Grangewood is outstanding, the staff are dedicated, treating the residents as if they are one of their own, nothing is any trouble. Activities are many and varied, families are always encouraged to join in. Without hesitation I would highly recommend Grangewood to anyone requiring a care home environment.

My mother-in-law has been a resident in Grangewood care home for approximately eighteen months, during that time she has been treated with respect and dignity by all of the staff and the overall care she has received has been excellent. The well-being and satisfaction of the residents are at the forefront of everything they do. The home is well managed and relatives concerns are listened to and appropriate actions are taken swiftly. Big thanks to all the carers and management.

My mum was in Grangewood care from November 2018 to November 2922, and in all that time, I can say they did their utmost to make her final years dignified and comfortable. It was a great source of comfort to know she was so well cared for and safe in her own space. The dignity that she had, in the end, is something I will always be grateful for from all of the staff in this excellent care home.

My long-time friend was admitted to Grangewood in July 2022, following a spell of ill health in the hospital. Due to her condition, she was nursed in bed, staff took time, effort and good care of her, spending time painting her nails and trying to set her hair. Sadly, she wasn't able to join in the whole range of activities available (party central, great atmosphere). She was treated with dignity and respect. I would happily recommend Grangewood to anyone wanting a care home for their loved ones. The whole team were friendly, supportive and professional.

An excellent choice of care home for my mother in the last few months of her life.
She was cared for professionally, with comfort and support.
The home was comfortable and clean, as was my mother's room.
The staff were friendly and caring; my wife and I were made very welcome when visiting.
Activities are regular and well attended by relatives, visitors and residents; in short, an excellent social calendar which is very important.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Grangewood to any relative considering a necessary placement due to circumstances.

My partner entered Grangewood when she was very ill, I couldn't look after her anymore because her illness started to deteriorate. Her stay in Grangewood was very short as she passed away recently. All I can say now, her stay was pleasant and comfortable til her life came to an end. Many thanks to all the staff for their dedication and efforts.

The care home experience is new to me and my family. However, we have found Grangewood Care Home to be well above the standards we expected.
Most especially the care all the staff provide, from cleaners and cooks to carers etc.
Being allowed to visit at any time of day helps to organise my time, rather than being restricted to a certain few hours each day.
Any problem/question I have, if not answered immediately, is followed up as soon as possible.
The home is always exceptionally clean. Food provided very much to my mother's high standards. Lots of variety, the residents also have a say in what types of food they wish to eat. Activities are full-on, especially now Covid restrictions have been slightly lifted. My mother thoroughly enjoys her outings and themed events.

I feel very lucky that we have Grangewood looking after my mother. I can't thank them enough for all they do.

My mother arrived at Grangewood in November 2021 after a long stay in hospital. Her room was newly decorated, fresh, clean and extremely comfortable. From the beginning, the staff have been extremely supportive to both my mother and our family throughout her stay. All the staff were professional with their approach and nothing was ever too much. At first, as a family we were apprehensive of using a care home, however, Grangewood was recommended to me for its outstanding approach to all. The home and the staff lived up to my high expectations and made me feel at home and at ease, knowing my mother would be cared for.
My mother enjoyed the activities that were provided especially the recent Valentine's lunch and the Christmas lunch, which I also attended.
Over the past week, I have spent more time with my mother by her bedside, however, this was not an issue for the care staff, they were always there if I was in need of anything, even just a cup of tea.

I can't thank the staff enough.

I have to commend Grangewood and all the staff for the care and support they have provided to both residents and also their families during the difficult time we have experienced throughout Covid-19. They have ensured that all Government guidelines have been met whilst also taking care of the needs of their residents and offering family guidance around visits and being able to see loved ones. My dad has been in Grangewood for approximately 7 years and has great affection for his caregivers and the support they provide him. Well done to all the team at Grangewood, you are amazing.

My father has now been a resident in Grangewood Care Home since June 2021. Prior to this he had been receiving care at home for a multitude of conditions which have left him requiring full-time care. Since going into Grangewood Care Home we have seen a huge improvement in my Dad. The general care has improved physically and he now has his dignity back. He is treated by all the care staff with respect, warmth and his needs are priority. The staff explores every avenue to get to know about him, his past, his likes and dislikes and his family, they welcome all his visitors. My dad has regained his self-respect due to their care. They have also been extremely supportive of my family, in particular of my mother (they have been married for 65 years) who visits every day. I have only praise and gratitude for them in the work they do and the care they have for all their residents. All of his physical, emotional, medical and care needs are met.
