Westview Lodge Care Home in Hartlepool is just a short walk from the beautiful seafront, offering residential, respite, palliative, dementia residential and intermediate care.

The dedicated and friendly team treats each resident as an individual and aim to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The home's chef and catering team create both nutritious and tasty meals for residents to enjoy, prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to create a homely feel and soak up the sun in the lovely garden on a beautiful day.

The home has a strong connection with the local community and the varied activities programme has something for everyone - lots of socialising or quiet time if preferred, and pursuing hobbies and interests are encouraged.

The home has a separate transitional/rehabilitation unit to support residents with recovery and skills development for a 6 week period. This unit has physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy health input and the aim is for the residents to return home if appropriate.

Visited my friend in Westview Lodge Care Home just before Christmas. He seemed very content where he is. The staff were pleasant and the manager seemed very kind and caring.

Quite comfortable, staff friendly and courteous, listen to me when ask questions. Could do with better beds and bedroom furniture. Meals are adequate would prefer a hot dessert at tea time especially during winter months.

My mother is well looked after and safe and secure in the lodge, which gives me peace of mind to know. The staff really look after her and make her feel like family. I can't thank them enough.

My wife is a stroke case, therefore mentally sound and treating as a dementia case is not appropriate. Staff are really caring. The physiotherapy attention is marvellous. Thank you.
