My dad was a resident within this care home from July 2019 until April 2020 when he sadly passed away. During this time all members of staff provided excellent care and support not only for my dad but for us as a family. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I really cannot ever thank them enough for
helping us through a very difficult time and setting my mind at rest that my dad was getting the care that he required.

The staff at Brownlee Court are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they are all very much in tune with their residents’ needs, and never too busy to give a hug. Brownlee Court is a very warm, caring and homely environment and if the time should come when I need to be cared for, I can think of
no better place that I would like to be.

An amazing home, extremely friendly staff and all the residents are very well looked after. They have the best facilities in any care home I have helped out in and go the extra mile to ensure the residents are totally satisfied and happy. They have lots of activities for them and will always do everything
they can to make sure they are happy, irrelevant of cost. Management are very much hands-on and play a full part in making sure the resident's requirements are fully met and their door is always open for any chat regarding absolutely anything. It is a joy to go in. More homes should be like this.

The care this home provides is brilliant! My mum has vascular dementia and she's always smiling and joking with staff. Pictures they post of the activities during restrictions have been fabulous.
My dad was there up until his passing last September and the compassion they showed him was lovely. They
have pulled out all the stops to entertain and care for the troops over this very difficult time!

It is a year now since my dad moved to Brownlee Court and all our family are delighted with the standard of care and support he receives. The staff are excellent, encouraging and respectful. Dad gets great meals and good personal care. The service is very well run and being able to access the Facebook
page means we can see the sort of activities that Dad is taking part in and even see him enjoying them.

All the carers are wonderful. The Facebook page is fantastic, showing the events of the day, whether or not your relative is partaking, it shows daily activities. The carers are very accomodating with Facetime and messenger. This is one hundred percent better than making a phone call. Well done Brownlee

My review is regarding the dedication of staff during lockdown. I have been so impressed with the way staff have ensured their clients had contact with family, sharing photos of our loved ones, arranging video chats meaningful age-appropriate activities that have obviously encouraged residents to get
up and join in. My mother spent a lot of time in bed before lockdown, now we see photos of her taking part in various activities, her hair is always lovely with different styles showing the care her staff take each day. Thank you Brownlee Court from the bottom of my heart for keeping my mother safe and entertained. Quality of life is key and staff at Brownlee Court have worked tirelessly to achieve this for their clients.

Provide top care, especially during a harder period with Covid-19, excellent at helping to cater for needs of the family (including a birthday that has fallen within this period) and ease of access and video calling time slots and being able to try and contact family members.

My mother was a resident for a number of years and was sadly in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease. Over the years that she lived and was cared for at the home, my brother, other members of the family and myself were frequent visitors. We were able to regularly see the levels of professional
care and love that was extended to Mother by all members of staff. She was very settled and happy at the home until her passing in June 2019.
We have the highest regard for the staff at the home and cannot thank them enough for looking after our mother so well over the years.

At Ormesby Grange, the staff are always friendly and happy to help.
On my first visit, everything was explained in a very professional way and I was shown around.
My father is very settled in his new home and I feel he is safe, secure and well looked after.

Dad moved to Ormesby Grange from another care home after being in hospital. He has settled very well and has a lovely room. The staff on EMI are extremely caring and approach dad with dignity. The food is nice and the home is very clean. The manager is very approachable. It would be nice to see some
activities for the EMI residents e.g. Crafts, singers etc dad has only been in a month so hopefully, this will get organised. Overall a very nice care home.

Dad came into the home in December 2018. He has settled really well which is thanks to the care staff. Dad is always approached with dignity and care. The manager has been very supportive. The care home is always very clean and the meals are always of a high standard. We have not seen activities happening
on the EMI floor/unit as of yet with the residents, it would benefit the residents and stimulate them.

Ormesby Grange is a lovely, bright and airy care home. The staff are really good at looking after my dad and I can relax knowing he is being well looked after. We always feel comfortable when we go to visit. Also, the food is very good and if we want Dad to have something different to eat, the kitchen
staff will see to it. Activities are quite good also, there is always something going on.

My mam has been going for respite for 2 years and always been happy to leave mam, knowing she would be well looked after. Mam is now on a short stay and hopefully being in full time. Staff amazing, each and every one of them. Cleanliness and rooms excellent. Staff have also been there for me when I've
needed them.
The support they give to my mam and family has been brilliant.
All take their jobs to heart.

Went to the Remember When singalong and it was lovely, the staff went above and beyond what they had to do. There was food and drink provided for all, I took my granddaughter along and she loved it.
The residents had a great time, some even trying to dance and all of us had a good singalong.
