Chichester Hall has been my mam's home for just over 3 years now. From day one she has received excellent care and kindness from all the staff who work there. Although my mam isn't able to participate in activities with the other residents, the staff still find ways to include her and give her 'experiences' whenever possible. Chichester Hall is a lovely, welcoming home, not only for residents but also for their family members & friends.

Staff are excellent care is 2nd to none. My only thing I feel is missing is a trip out now and again to town but I know this would mean a lot of expense and transport.

My mother moved to Chichester Hall from another home 10 months ago, but Chichester for my mother was a home from home. The staff are amazing, the care and attention she has from them all was amazing. Special mention to two members of staff in particular are truly wonderful and caring. If you are seeking a care home for a loved one, Chichester will be a good choice. Home from home.

My mum had 2 weeks respite at Chichester Hall. She was apprehensive before her stay, but as soon as she arrived she was greeted by friendly, warm and caring staff. The hall itself is clean and homely and she enjoyed the food (she has put weight on!). Mum was sorry to leave and is going to miss all the staff. I can't thank the manager and her amazing team enough. My husband and myself were always made to feel welcome and offered tea and biscuits.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent 9-day respite stay at the Skinburness Home. It is set in beautiful and peaceful surrounding countryside on the Solway Firth. The staff was all brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. Being in a motorised wheelchair I had no problems at all getting around as the hallways and rooms were very spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

My father came into Chichester Hall three weeks ago for respite care. The excellent service provided by this care home helped to make his final days happy and fulfilling as he felt safe and valued in an environment where all the staff have been exemplary led by a superb management team who made the right decisions every time and provided my wife and I with the necessary information with which to make clear decisions. I can't praise them highly enough as they helped to make what was a potentially traumatic period of passing dignified and affirming.

I have been so happy with the care given to my grandparent, the staff truly care about each and every resident. They keep in contact with us too, especially in the time that my grandparent spent in hospital recently.

Would definitely recommend this service to anyone else thinking about having a loved one in care, they will put your mind at ease.

The staff at Chichester Hall provided exceptional care for my gran. Chichester Hall is well led by the manager, who has cultivated a great team. All staff are warm and approachable, and there is a family feel that always remains professional. My gran was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. My mum was well settled and happy at Chichester Hall. She enjoyed the broad range of activities which gave her an excellent quality of life. The home-cooked food was both nutritious and delicious and preferences/dietary requirements were well catered for. Chichester Hall was always spotlessly clean and mum was always well-groomed, which was of particular importance to her. All the staff work together well as one cohesive team providing the best care in a home-from-home friendly environment. I thank all the staff for looking after my mum so well in the last few months, allowing us quality time together and providing precious moments. Quite simply, in my opinion, Chichester Hall should be the model that all care homes are based on.

I cannot praise this home enough. My Mother has been in the home for five years. She was diagnosed with vascular dementia but was needing a lot more full-time care. Originally we (my sister and I) thought she would benefit from respite for a few weeks. Mum was initially hesitant about going into care, but even temporarily she was made to feel at home immediately. The transition to residential care came quite quickly and we think due to the attention and care she received has ended up well settled in the home. The staff are extremely welcoming and when we first left her they said to ring any time to see if she was ok. The staff worked extremely well during lockdown and I was able to WhatsApp to see her during lockdown. I try and see her regularly and my daughter goes to see her with my grandsons when she can. One thing I remember the manager saying to me was that the home is the residents' home and is treated as such. Well done Chichester Hall staff.
