I visit my neighbour every week and she looks forward to me coming. She has been in Croft Avenue for a year now. She is so settled and calls it her home. The staff are absoulutley wonderful with all the clients, the activities are brilliant and my neighbour joins in with them all, she helps outside in the garden area, she has always been active at home in the garden and this is lovely to see. Being a former carer myself, I would definately recommend this care home, and if and when my situation changes, this would be my preffered choice for a care home.
It is always lovely to receive such wonderful feedback and especially from someone who has worked in care. We really appreciate it, thankyou!
We are extremely happy that our mother is being looked after in a lovely, homely setting which has lovely views across to the hills. As a family we can relax knowing she is safe and is being cared for by a dedicated team of carers who ensure her needs are met sensitively. From the minute you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome, everyone is kind and friendly and everywhere is spotlessly clean.
Thankyou for sharing your feedback with us - we truly appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We are so pleased that you are happy with Croft Avenue, I will pass your kind words onto the care team.
Only concern is the lift to first floor is always out of order & on one occasion, my dad had to use the stairs, he has very poor mobility.
Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review. I am so pleased that both yourself and your dad are happy with Croft Avenue. I completely understand your frustration regarding the lift. The lift has a full service and repair contract but the contractors are currently waiting for a replacement part. Please be assured that we have a stair lift available for use at any time.

My dad and mum are both looked after and safe. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Croft Avenue Care Home is like one big family and I'm very happy my parents are being looked after so well.

Dad has only been at Croft Avenue for 2 weeks. In that time we can see he is being cared for by a team of dedicated carers who put the residents first. They have made him feel welcome in a calm, friendly, relaxed way. There is laughter, fun and above all a sense of humour, which dad has responded to well. We are always made to feel welcome when we visit any requests we have are dealt with promptly and efficiently, nothing is too much bother! The food is very good, always plenty of choice. There is a good variety of activities available, we are so pleased to see dad is joining in. We as a family are extremely happy with the care dad is receiving. Thank you to all the staff at Croft Avenue.

Excellent care home with lovely staff and a lovely environment. Real sense of companionship and the communication from the staff was brilliant from the start. Can't thank you all enough and we would recommend Croft Avenue to others considering care.

Our first impressions of the home are of a light, airy, clean, comfortable home. The staff are all approachable, efficient, caring and fully aware of Mum's needs. Mum's initial anxiety was quickly eased and she frequently refers to the staff's kindness.
Thank you for your kind words, it is really appreciated.
Prompt, professional action when my mother fell in her room on 20/10/23. I am always contacted by a senior member of staff when there are issues of concern regarding my mother. I find all members of staff very approachable, welcoming and informative.
Thank you so much for your lovely words, I will pass them on.
Mum has been a resident at Croft Avenue Care Home for nearly a year now. She is very happy, really enjoys company and taking part in the many activities. she is always clean and tidy and in the main lounge area with other residents. The staff without exception are really friendly and helpful. My sister and I are genuinely happy with all the care mum receives. She has Alzheimer's and was no longer safe in her own home.

Thank you for a pleasant, restful relaxing stay.
My auntie is being very well looked after; I cannot tell you how lucky she is to be looked after by so many amazing people. They are all so patient with her as she is so demanding, especially through the night. Everyone is so easy to talk to if we have any problems.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely response; we really appreciate it.
